Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Well done Spurs….. and well done their favourite Ref… what a fuck up… Lol!!!
After watching again our game yesterday and especially the goals we conceded, I think on reflection Kelleher was somewhat unlucky on all three goals…
As all three goals were all scored from inside the six yard box, Kelleher had very little chance to react quick enough to save any of them…
The first one from Wilson went through his legs, it could so easily have hit his legs and with a bit of luck been saved…
The second one his is diving into the corner to save the initial shot and the ball gets redirected, back to where he dived from…
The third goal was just a well worked and executed goal and no real blame dan be laid at Kellehers door…
The manner how Fulham and lots of other teams, are able to get at us so easily was my main concern again, rather than any significant failings by Kelleher…
I am sure that if we were to forensically analyse every single goal we have conceded this season, it really would not be a good watch…. defensively we really are so easy to get at, our inability throughout the team to sense danger coupled with powder puff tackling is what will ultimately cost us this year… not Kelleher.
Just saying….
Very good points made. Kelleher is a bit of a cult hero too. Saved us in Shoot outs more than once to win trophies. It’s easy to over analyse any goal - as you say Fulham opened us up too easily and that is the more worrying issue.
Not easy coming in from the cold and following a keeper of Alisson’s stature,
Klopp will make sure his confidence is rock solid - just a bummer that yet again a club changes manager before they play us.
Tis called a guid gam o' fitba 'n' it happens noo 'n' again. Learn tae enjoy it.
