Surprised we've not been linked more to Kimmich, he'd be perfect for FSG & can play in a few positions.
Probably wages the problem

I think we'll keep Robertson.Tsimikas is on his way. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT if we don't get the correct amount we require for his sale. We'll keep him and let his contract run down and rely on Robbo and him to play next season as well. new left back?? nahhhhhhhhhhThats how it works..

They both need to go.
Sorry.
If we don't replace Robbo specifically, then this club is not at all serious about challenging next season or defending our title if we happen to scrape through and win it in these last couple of games.
If one thing's been obvious in this season, it's that Robbo's best days a long gone behind him.
As we saw several times in the game yesterday, his legs are gone. And it wasn't for the first time this season that he's been unable to keep up and been found out several times in a game.
He's no longer reliable with his delivery and getting the ball to a target in the box as he once was; his corner kicks almost never get past the first defender anymore, much less the near post; defensively he's increasingly erratic, being responsible this season for 2 red cards and a handball all leading to goals, and not counting the numerous other brainfart moments he's had.
And more often than not he's actually accomplished the near impossible of making Trent not seem like our worst defender.
And the less said about the few times he finds himself with a shot to take after a build-up and what he eventually musters, the better for everyone.
Knowing this footbal club, as mentioned above, they'll probably wait for his contract to run out and let him leave on a free before properly replacing him.
As if we haven't learned anything from waiting until players legs are completely gone before replacing them as we saw with our midfield in the Hendo-Fabby-Milly era and final years with Klopp.
And Tsimikas has always been a squad player at best.
Backup of the backup.
I'd prefer a cover or alternate who credibly challenges the starter for the starting spot and legitmately makes the case for starting them.
Kinda like Conor does on the other wing (and hoping he improves his fitness and durability for next season, he could be the starter - especially if Trent departs).
Tsimkas is more the option that comes in only because Robbo is injured or terribly out of form and not because the gaffer is looking for something different.

then people will be complaining how we got a young left back with no experience.. we won't buy 2 left backs in the summer thats for sure. And Robertson is better that Kostas

We need quite a few players to be able to compete on all fronts and this is even if Salah and Van Dijk both stay
Left back
Centre back
Right back (assuming Trent is off)
Midfielder
Striker to replace Nunez
Forward to replace Jota
We all know we'll be lucky to get even half of what we need with these owners
