    Glad to see Frimpong start.

    Ability to beat a man and sensible to rotate Gomez throughout the remainder of the season.

    We need both Joe and Jeremie fit as often as possible.

    Team confirmed

    Alisson

    Frimpong Konate Van Dijk Kerkez

    Szoboslai Gravenberch Macca

    Salah Ekitike<->Gakpo

    Surprised to see Frimpong return at Joe’s expense given the nature of which the game is likely to be

    Let’s be on it intensity, tempo, quality, composure communication, picking up, pressing and counter pressing and some goals please Liverpool

    Get the win NO excuses

    That bench is that of a squad not adequately equipped to seriously and continuously compete for top honours, never mind actually win some silverware.

    I’m a bit surprised to be honest the sort of game it’s likely to be, Joe’s long throw would have been useful too

    A bit win tonight could put us in 3rd, temporarily at least. Feeling confident tonight and hoping that's not the kiss of death...

    How is it that other clubs can hold on to or get hold of decent rotating first team players happy to o sit on the bench, whereas we only seem to get people who are immediate first teamers and get pissed off if they aren't playing and so leave to go elsewhere. We could so have done with Nunez and Diaz this season just to mix things up.

    How does the bench look if you add Bradley, Wirtz, Isak, Endo and Leoni?

    Maybe a lot of these other team's players who start on the bench still have a lot to prove and thus can't really start demanding that they start games. You'd think that as recent winners of the league and a club that regularly goes deep in the CL we'd be able to attract a few good quality players who are willing to be part of a squad rather than a guaranteed starter, at least to begin with.

    Give over Jozza. We should have at least three top players for every position. To be honest we should have four really.
