    Arsenal

I see that lots of Liverpool bloggers are being 'big enough' to say well done Arsenal.
Well not me. And it's not just sour grapes. Sour grapes is when Benardo Silva refused to applaud us in a guard of honour after we had beaten them to the title in an outstanding season.
Man City, Man Utd and Aston Villa have all played football far superior to Arsenal this season. Played football as it is best played.
Arsenal... an endless run of 1-nils. Goals scored from corners where everyone piles in on the keeper as the ball is swung under the crossbar. It's not exactly prime Xavi/Iniesta Barcelona, which is the lineage from Guardiola to Arteta.
And that's without even going into the shithousery all over the pitch.

It very much sounds like sour grapes!

It wasn't pretty but it was certainly effective. There are numerous ways to win matches/titles it doesn't all have to be rock and roll and amazing football.

That being said Arteta is a horrible cunt.

Horrible manager, horrible players, horrible football, and horrible fans. In their favour is the fact that they're not Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd or the Ev

Just like the times that Man City and Chelsea won the title via money they didn't earn, Arsenal's title will be forgotten about as soon as next season kicks off, if not sooner.

Aren't they all just about forgotten about by everyone other than the fans of the winning clubs? Nobody will remember our title win last season, other than us.

I agree with your sentiment though.

They will have the extra pressure we did this campaign of being defending champions. Many of factors of our own dire making in how this season has gone but being PL winners puts a larger target on a clubs back for opponents. Their luck will continue though as they won't have to face a Guardiola City

Yep, nobody will remember our title under Slot other than us. Just like us last season, Arsenal have played 'meh' football which has been combined with other clubs not being at the races.

Lots of seasons or champions aren't especially memorable, but at the very least you'd think that the winners would get a reasonable amount of kudos from other team's fans and that they'd be feared the following season. Does anybody think that Arsenal have been great and now have that fear factor. I know I don't.

Yes, we were champs from 27th April last year until May 20th 2026. That's a week short of a 13 month reign. If we can somehow run away with it next year then that'll cut down on the Arse gloating time.

Think there should be a campaign for an asterisk next to this year's PL winners. As they didn't get past prime Pep or Klopp to get it done.

I honestly can't think of a standout single goal from an Arsenal player all season. PL winners usually produce 5 or more memorable strikes. Best goal in an Arsenal game was Szobo's free kick winner at Anfield.
2 points Arsenal took off ourselves and City over a possible 12 in 4 league games.

Arsenal won the title after failing to score a goal or create many chances against us in over 180 minutes of football.
