Liverpool V Brentford, final game of the season

LFC line up v Brentford: Liverpool: Alisson, Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Salah, Gakpo, Ngumoha.

Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Endo, Kerkez, Wirtz, Isak, Chiesa, Frimpong, Nyoni.

After a poor season for our standards. Lets see if we can win today and sign the season off with a win

Be sad to see several of our players leaving and possibly leaving

We simply don't close down opposition players quickly enough. We regularly give opposition players lots of space to run into and lots of time to put crosses into our box.

It has been said that this play on nostalgia has been done to try and distract fans from the distinct possibility that Slot will still be in charge come the start of next season.

Pearce has just tweeted that Slot is making an announcement after the game. Probably about that self awareness course I mentioned.
