If he's on £55k a week, he's on the same again or more on bonuses...
Not a hope in hell he stayed on that money these last 3+ years...
That £140k pw contract is coming from multiple sources, and plenty of them...
Anyway, doesn't matter what he's on, it looks like he's off if our price is met..
Fofana or Rodrygo wouldn't be bad replacements...

Dunno if either will be right for the club - it’s a shame with Diaz he was brilliant until that injury which became a clusterfuck by our medical team at the time - we rushed him back without the surgery needed - he then broke down again and finally had the surgery he needed initially - lost 12-18 months of Diaz then his parents were kidnapped - bad luck there. Last season we glimpsed of the original Diaz. Hope the next club doesn’t see his best years.
Maybe best if he does move on but we almost had another Mane

Yeah, it indeed was bad luck, pity...
Yep, it really does look like it's time to part ways. Feck his father, who's a big push on this situation. Great thanks to the club who supported Luis through the kidnapping at the time. Only for pop to literally burst out of captivity and proclaim his sons love for the Catalans.... Ballache...

I'd said in another thread that if we could get £66m for him, given Rodrygo's asking price is meant to be £86m, that I'd go for that.
You get a player that's 4 years younger and who can cover multiple positions, for a net fee of £20m. Rodrygo no doubt asks for higher wages, but overall, probably all a good fit for our future-proofing.
I'll stand by that - though no denying I would miss Diaz when he goes.

Sid knows he's crazy and he likes it. Balinkay
I feel Diaz (and Konate) is a player we didn't see the best of, just glimpses, and now at last he's shown us what he can do in his best season and he wants out. All those windows of worrying about him going to Barca where all South Americans want to end up and he goes to Germany?!?!

Liverpool yet to receive an improved bid from Bayern Munich for Luis Diaz. Player has trained normally so far this week in Hong Kong.
Real Madrid’s Rodrygo currently not viewed as a possible replacement if Diaz does go. No talks.
not sure how relevant or accurate he is?
Not sold on Rodrygo has all the hype, but stats aren't anything amazing, then again neither is Diaz... and he is younger, makes sense, primarly plays on the right though? i thought ? suppose he can play across the line, right footed I think
Diaz at his best is incredible, and his pace.. we'll need someone good and fast on the ball if he does go.
103apps 29goals 18 assists
Rodrygo 172apps 32 goals 30 assists mostly played on the right....
but you don't play for real madrid that much if you're shit
also if diaz goes, can't see nunez leaving too unless we want to be short up top, don't see us bringing in 2 more attackers, chiesa will be off it seems.
