Has loads going for him. Tall, quick, technical, excellent vision.
Inconsistencies with finishing but if we can do a Firmino-esque job of bringing lads around him (Wirtz, Salah, Gakpo and to some degree Kerkez and Frimpong) then we are laughing.
Hope it works out. Good to have someone whose contract doesn't run out at the end of the 29/30 season as we are going to be super busy in the lead-up to that trying to tie lads down, though that is a problem for much later thankfully.

Sid knows he's crazy and he likes it. Balinkay
Looking forward to him playing, reserving judgement, not sure what to expect.
Still need one more if Nunez or Diaz leaves, think chiesa will be off, we don't want to be short suddenly up top, I don't really want to see Elliot on the wings..
can't see nunez and diaz both leaving.
Sadly for Elliot, I don't see where he fits in now wirtz is here, if wirtz is out there's others that can play like Szob.
“That can be interpreted as showing the quality of Ekitike's all-round game, whether holding up the ball, running into channels, or bursting in behind.
In that respect – in most respects, in fact – he is very similar to Alexander Isak, albeit with considerably more flair to his game and a penchant for taking players on in the dribble.
He is particularly adept at setting up team-mates, too, creating more chances from open play (44) in 2024-25 than any other Bundesliga forward.
The only slight concern is that Ekitike is a little raw in front of goal. He took 117 shots in the Bundesliga last season, more than anyone else, but converted a disappointing 12.8%, leading to an xG under-performance of 6.6 goals – a bigger gap than any other player in Europe's 'Big Five' leagues.
But that just means Ekitike needs a little tuning up.
It's worth nothing that when Isak was the same age, playing for Real Sociedad in 2021-22, he scored just six goals in 32 league games, under-performed his xG by 3.8, and converted just 8.2% of his shots.
In an era when utilising attacking transitions are of increasing importance, Ekitike's smart assists, his give-and-go moves, and his line-breaking carries into the final third are all hallmarks of the elite modern number nine.
As a case in point, he topped the 2024-25 Bundesliga charts for shot-ending carries (44) and ranked fifth for attempted dribbles (126), while also scoring more goals from fast breaks (4) than anyone else in the division.
I like the idea of players up the pitch being good at dribbling and putting the backline under pressure.. we use to have players that just spent their entire time trying to pass the ball. its so easy to defend against with low blocks.
then teams would break on us and we'd left be wide open... You need your front men to take responsibility.. Shame we lost Jota.. he was one of the few players that took on the defenders centrally in attack
He looks like a very composed player to me. More so than Isak. Would love Isak too but think we have landed the geezer with a higher ceiling. Has to work on areas of his game but the quality is clear to me at least Has superb vision too. Assisting plenty and many a cute assist to an assist.
His build is probably the biggest factor in him going under the radar
Wirtz knows how to put the ball in the net. Mo will be more free roaming I'd say, so should do his usual goals contribution too...
I doubt we'll be goal shy justme...

Yep Steveo. I'm excited by his signing for us. Raw round the edges, but he's at the right club..
A lot of his misses are being factored in after Marmoush left and Ekitike took the mantle of being the main man up front, and thus so, tried too hard to rescue his team sometimes, which is a good trait too when done correctly of course...
