Subs: Woodman, Mamardashvili, Konate, Jones, Gakpo, Tsimikas, Doak, Kerkez, Frimpong, Bradley, Nyoni.

No Darwin Nunez or Luis Diaz in the match-day squad but there are eight missing in total, line-up looks fluid. Let's see how it shapes up on the pitch.

Joe Gomez has an Achilles injury and has gone back to Merseyside (just go get Guehi ffs) Endo has a slight knock so won’t be risked, they don’t want him to miss the game in Japan.

Gomez is injured again. Regardless if Konate stays or goes. I still think we need TWO centre backs we’re minus Quansah, Gomez is injury prone and Konate won’t be pushing himself if he’s going to Madrid next season, because if he gets injured he won’t get his big pay day.

I'm disappointed because I wanted to see him in his 10 role, but we've got nobody else really.
Looks like him and Salah are on a good similar wavelength though.

I agree, he looks exciting. But you have to be careful with young players, body still growing, can pick up weird injuries if you play them too much. He looks like he has been in the gym, but I think he is still 16! Maybe keep him in the squad and give him a bit of first team game time, rather than a loan or something.
