I can understand why we let Diaz go.. almost twice the money we paid for him and hes almost 29..we got Ekitike for almost the same price.. who will be able to play on the left when we get a forward. We need another forward and a centre back. only have 2 right now you can not rely on Gomez

A couple of those times you've seen Cody have to be the one covering to defend against Munoz.
Coming into the game I was more worried about that sort of situation happening more frequently on the other wing as Frimpong seems to be the more attack-minded kind of FB in the mold of Trent, while Mo is less so inclined to fall back and help cover defensively.

But so far it's been on the left wing that that's been happening a lot.

I hope it's just a case of Milos getting his bearings early doors, but he needs to sort it out sharp-ish.

Not a great half. No control of the game whatsoever. Palace have continually found space down our left, that needs a tactical adjustment and for all our pretty passing going forward, we’ve had just 4 attempts at the Palace goal, they’ve had 5.

You can tell we’ve got 4 new outfield starters.

First half motm Ekitike for me, an absolute handful with a very good touch.
