Don’t know about the cups being impossible, the top four order is just as difficult. Could be the closest first to fourth finish yet.

Thomas Frank will do a decent job and even Utd can’t be as bad with £200m spent on forwards. Bournemouth have sold too many starters but poor old Brentford will be the biggest fallers for me.
Still time for one or two transfers to make a difference but this is how I see it.
Heart rules head for No.1, we may take a while to gel.

      1.Liverpool
      2.City
      3.Arsenal
      4.Chelsea
      5.Spurs
      6.Utd
      7.Forest
      8.Newcastle
      9.Villa
      10.Brighton
      11.Palace
      12.Everton
      13.Fulham
      14.Wolves
      15.Bournemouth
      16.Leeds
      17.West Ham
      18.Sunderland
      19.Brentford
      20.Burnley

      FA Cup Utd
      League Cup Spurs
      Champions League Liverpool (obvs)

I have bet on this with a few friends every season. We score it like golf. 0pts for every a correct position. +1 for place each team is out by.

For example if you predict Liverpool to finish top and we actually finish 3rd, Liverpool would score +2, so on and so forth fr every other team. Lowest points win.

        Anyway...

        1. Liverpool
        2. Man City
        3. Arsenal
        4. Aston Villa
        5. Chelsea
        6. Brighton
        7. Newcastle
        8. Tottenham
        9. Crystal Palace
        10. Man Utd
        11. Fulham
        12. Bournemouth
        13. Everton
        14. Notts Forest
        15. Brentford
        16. Leeds
        17. West Ham
        18. Wolves
        19. Sunderland
        20. Burnley

FA Cup Winners - Man City
LG Cup Winners - an outsider like a West Ham, Brighton or Everton.
        CL Winners - Real Madrid

If we get our expected transfer business done, then I'd predict we'll win no 21 & no 7.
We'll bin off the domestics to a degree playing those who need minutes, b-teamers & kids.
Less arsed about CL groupstage position and more focused on adapting & performing in the knockout stages. All focus on the PL till then.

As it stands today, it's hard to predict. Lots of spending & change. Hopefully we see more of both before the window closes.

As of today, Arsenal have added their Gykor striker & Zubimendi with both expected to improve their starting 11. Think they might be favourites for the league as we await arrivals.

Cituae, more change than Arsenal in recent times, you'd expect pep to be back. But he really lost it last year.

            Ones to watch for me:
Newcastle, feels like they've made a mess of their window. Isak....
Manu big spending but will it produce. On paper 3 decent attackers added to their squad.
Everton, Moyes did really well with them since taking over and I think they might do better than usual.

Feel the same, might be arsenals year, not sure city have done enough but we'll see

Depending on transfers and changes still with us, currently we're too short and replacing half the team that's been together years aint going to be simple

I'm expecting us to add a Guehi, Isak & Rodrygo before the window closes. Most expect a Guehi & Isak to arrive.

Then I'd have us favourites for PL & CL.

We'll have a fair bit of change in our squad but the bones of our title winning side remain intact.

Handling such turnover presents a challenge, but if what's expected transpires, it will largely be a turnover that upgrades the quality within the squad & team. That should make Slots job easier. You can argue over a few newbies over former players, but overall the summer would include undoubted improvements.

Don't think you can look beyond us, Arsenal & Cituae for the PL title. Arsenal look the stronger of the two. Pep really did have a breakdown last year so not as certain they'll rebound as we'd expect. But like Everton they were much better 2nd half of the season after their awful run of results earlier last season.

Should be a cracking season, hope we are laser focused on the PL.

PL and CL double for us I predict and hope. Not much between City and Chelsea for the runners up spot.
Utd have no European comp this season which may benefit them. We took a title race to the last day in 13/14 under Rodgers with just domestic games ti concentrate on all season. That can make a huge difference in terms of injuries. They might float around a top 4 finish but hopefully not.

Every time Arsenal have finished 2nd three times in a row they have always gone on to win it.

Think we will finish second in the league. Lots of new players adjusting to a tough league, new culture, new team mates.
Think we will win Champions League and one domestic cup.
Brentford, Burnley and West ham to go down.
