      An archetypal Grealish performance.

Yep, Newcastle and Villa fans seem to be going mad over the PSR rules. I believe the former actually voted for it. It ties in with Grealish.. Man-cheaty paid an 100 million for him.. I know they signed him recently..in the last 4 years. But the money was illegally pumped in years earlier. meant the finances of that club was higher and with buys and sales the input to this day is still in circulation.. Newcastle fans want the rules to changed Yet we have ourselves have acted in accordance to the rules. Its taken us years to build up our income to act in the way we have this season.

Newcastle can't wait to get into this situation. like a spoilt brat they want everything yesterday

I always check who our ref/ var person/s are for our up coming fixture and its Simon Hooper. My mind naturally went back to the game were were cheated in against Spurs.. How poor Jota was sent off for none fouls. Made me think how pissed off i was at it.. And seeing what happened recently.. puts it all into perspective. Life can a be a bitch sometimes.

Chelsea turn the game on its head and the young Brazilian Estevao looks absolute mustard

And Diaz has scored again for Bayern. So on his debut in the German Super cup and now in his league debut v RB Leipzig

That’s 5:1 to Chelsea and it’s only 58 mins gone. Could be a cricket score here. The Hammers went ahead on 6 minutes too,

Why did we let him go again?
I won't lie that I'm worried about the number of players that have gone out. All great bench assets or first team rotation players. I feel we are a bit short in places where we wouldn't have been if certain players stayed.

He wanted a bigger paycheck and/or a new adventure and league to play in.

                        Depending on whom you believe.

Whichever the case, it would imply we didn't have as much option as one would believe in getting to keep him, but at the same time, at least he didn't run his contract down to leave on a free (...unlike some...) and allowed the club to recoup something from his departure that's helped massively pay down our net spend in this transfer window.

It was a good deal for all concerned.. Got almost 66 million for a player who'll be 29 in January... he was amazing last season like most of our players. But the stuff over his father, after we as a club did our best to help Diaz while his father was abducted and then allowed his father/mother stay in the UK for several months.. And then to come out and say he wanted to join Barca if he could. just left a bad taste for me. Glad his dad was safe. we may go in for Rodrygo so time will tell on that.

I concur with that part about Diaz and what we did for him, his family, and then him subsequently angling for a move to Barcelona.

Think helping a person through a hostage situation is basic humanity.

Very different to a local lad playing fans for fools, leading them on, when he knew he was leaving.
