Playing a midfielder at right back over a right back. Shows the confidence in gomez. Should have sold him if that's the case.

And I said IF gomez is fit he should start. But then again, when is he fit.

Gomez is just back from a big injury. It's a tough away fixture so I'd go for the lad with grit, match sharpness and fitness. Sobozla is a similar option to Frimpong.

Slot has said that Gomez wasn’t really ready for the twenty minutes v Bournemouth after his lay off and didn’t fully train for three days. Very much doubt he will start, not because Slot doesn’t rate him, far from it. He’s just not physically ready to start away at Newcastle
