F/T 1-1 pretty even game, the officials did their best by giving Utd two poor decisions in their favour but they still couldn’t win.

Utd’s goal was a big deflection off a defender’s header which was going wide. So they await the first goal from their new £200m frontline

Think they'll be suffering the Ole-ball problem for a bit.

They look like they can get some joy on the counter, but if sides sit off a bit and let them have the ball, they won't create easily or be able to "pick the lock" against a tight defence.

They just don't evolve. It's great.

I've just seen the inside of the BS's new stadium for the first time. It looks like the builders have buggered off before they've finished and they've decided to not bother dismantling the scaffolding.

I'd literally started typing out words to that effect earlier when the forum was having one of it's ridiculously sluggish spells - presumably I didn't hit send or it never went as posts sometimes don't complete if the load takes too long - but yes, agree with you fully.

It's a very odd finish. I doubt their fans will give a damn if it maintain their good start in the place, but it's a really strange design choice.

Cheers Steveo, Think I will go and check it out when I next come up to the City. Got to see it in person to have a proper view.

I just looked at the Madrid line up . No Trent in the starting 11 and still not come on as a sub.. I wonder if they'll think of selling him?? they'll make a huge pack in profit if they do... Which clubs would be in for him?
I know its early days and he'll probably get the season. But Madrid tend to make up their minds on players pretty quickly

He's getting hammered by the Spanish press. Too conservative in his game.
And everyone loves Carvahal. (Not surprising, he's the kind of guy you would want in your team).

Btw... how can Chris Kavanagh born and raised in Manchester, be reffing that game at Fulham? And yes he gave almost every decision to Utd

Just how poor is the Scottish league? Celtic win their league what 12/13 times in a row and cant get past a Kazakhstan team over 2 legs. cant even score a goal either.. They'll return to play in their domestic league at the weekend and win by at least 3 maybe 4 goals.
