So unless they win the FA Cup (thus qualifying for the Europa League) or finish high enough in the table, they could find themselves missing out on Europe again next season. The more they miss out, the better.

A combo of insistence upon the back-three and him having a meeting with West Ham which was seen as a tactic, aka "if you don't move fast I will be at another club" - we decided "nah you're alright" and Slot has proven to be the right choice.

If I go into a project management meeting with an idea on how to do things, there always has to be an alternative plan b, plan c, plan d.
