Dom was definitely motm with Virgil strong in defence.

We cannot get Guehi in quick enough and play him straight away.

Same happened to Trent’s form when he was running his contract down, hideous.

If Slot insists on playing Wirtz as a ten against Arsenal we will get beat.

I think Wirtz will take time I think we need our midfield 3 of last season

We’re increasingly in danger of losing our ability to be devastatingly direct and brilliant at lightening end to end counters and we need to keep that and improve it

Our defence is an issue at the moment. But i always think thats cause of the time of year the pitches are usually faster. as we go into the season, even though pitches are good to play on. But they do get slower due to climatical change..Teams won't be able to press has quickly. so we should dominate more of the ball. And a lot of the top teams have to play twice/some times 3 times in a week..so to keep up with the stresses and strains.. 2 more players at least added to squad is required

you have to laugh at the lack of understanding from opposition fans.. Some barcodes are complaining about the 11 minutes added time. They neglect the injuries to THEIR players. Toenail was down 2 times with his shoulder. Joelinton was down with a thigh injury and there was also a bandaged up head. On top of that was the 10 subs or how many was used.

It's funny how some fans complained that football under Slot last season was "boring" at times and that there was a longing for the raw excitement of the earlier bit of Klopp's tenure.

Whilst definitely not by design, we've had two bonkers finishes to matches in the Bournemouth and Newcastle games.

We're never happy Sincerely though, I hope we can get some semblance of control back into our matches quick-sharp.

He made a good point but his team even with a man advantage cannot get the better of Newcastles midfield. What does he think Arsenal will do to it? Unless we significantly improve in all aspects OR we have been playing possum - we are going to get spanked.

Slot’s post match comments concerned me to be honest. Newcastle had a game plan and their players carried it out almost to perfection, with 10 men and no striker they scored twice and came close to a couple more.

Surely Arne is aware of the physical aspect of the league by now. Yes Newcastle played like Everton but if you were waiting for them to stand off us and try to play pretty football… come on, they don’t have the players for a start.

A touch concerning, he needs to either get this lot to toughen up or get some physicality in the squad, such a pity Caicedo didn’t come, we could do with a bit of what he brings.

to be fair that was a massive Banana skin waiting to happen.....Everything was stacked against us given the context of that game. Every fan and player for the toon had an extra 20%.

Maybe we should give them some credit for coming through such a huge test with a win and hope they gain some strength and belief from it!
