Ireland did get it back to 2-1 but the really didn’t put the home team under any sustained pressure, while Armenia broke through time after time. Kelleher stopped 4 or 5 clear chances in the second half including 3 one on ones.
Then on 88 minutes Armenia finally get the ball in the net a third time but VAR ruled it marginally offside.
But it is still total humiliation by the team ranked 105 in the world, who recently lost 5-2,to Kosovo.
