Not sure why Mo and Wirtz are getting all the criticism, to a man they were all pretty poor. But it's always difficult against teams that put all 10men behind the ball like that.

It's the first time in a while where a team has done that. Hopefully we won't come up against too often this season.

It was poor Kev. The only clear chance we created was when young Rio came on in the 85th minute (about twenty minutes too late) and played a good ball across the box to Frimpong (who came on with him) but the angle was tight.

Maybe also a Robbo cross that Chiesa headed wide but apart from that, 27 attempts with only 3 on target tells it’s own story

Szoboszlai shot from 35 yards was a good one.. Took a bit of saving.. But was straight at the keeper..was only the pace that could have beaten the goalie

And it wasn't Onono in the Burnley goal. It would have been 2 goals at once not 1..

Wasn’t really a created chance tho and that’s what the club spent £100m on Wirtz for isn’t it? So far he’s done no more than Harvey Elliott, in fact less after 340 minutes or so.

Regarding Wirtz hes playing with players hes never played before with it.. will take time for him to learn their play as well.. He does look a bit physically weak. But i think as the season wears on he'll adjust.
I think personally hes a false 9 come 10. and will be best closer to goal. rather than off the front 3. Firmino type player and those with long memories. Took Bobby a very long time to get his first goal.. and no doubt had his doubters

Yeah I know Szoboszlai but that is the point, Wirtz hasn’t really shown anything yet.
Hope he does find his feet obviously but I am concerned how little he’s shown so far.

Yesterday's gane I think shows we will miss Diaz more than we think. Gakpo was very predictable on the left. Diaz had a more unpredictability to him.

When Rio came on the left created more chances on those 10mins.
