The fact that Slot walked in and inherited a side that had been in a quad chase and remained until late in title race - despite unprecedented injuries the season prior - is another issue. Slot did great but he did it with Klopp’s players. He fielded the best of those players religiously and suffer d almost no serious injury. And we made 2 more points.

Going back to todays match.. we were excellent in the first half. just lost a bit in the second. which is understandable. we played Wednesday evening and first thing Saturday morning.. Klopp hated it and can understand why. They only change the fixture kick off time.. When you are away with Europe on a Weds. Theres no difference still a massive hindrance.playing with such a small gap to recover.. Everton got more dominant for second balls.. so was hard to control the flow of the game. Thankfully got through the match with all 3 points..And Grealish i despise him.. How he leans his body into the opponent and tipples over.. and then whines about the contact..

I thought he was good first half hour ( like everyone else) but then dropped off. I wonder if that injury is still bothering him a bit. Like you say he certainly looks short of what we know he's capable of.
