thats why he hardly starts major games.. Jones plays the game at his own pace. hes in his own little world half the time

The club need to move him on.

He's taking up space now.
How many more chances is he going to get?

I'd even rather have a lineup that has Chiesa playing slightly deeper in a false 10 than bringing on Jones to do his little tricks that lead to nothing, and then a disappearing act for the rest of the time he's on the field.

As is stands the only players that deserve to keep their places are Alisson, VVD, Gravenberch despite not being good today, maybe Slobby, Ekitike and Chiesa.

we have Palace in league cup coming up.. They'll play the exact same way.. compact the middle of the pitch and with 3 defenders and then press from the middle.. they hardly play wide.... go in with 2 forwards...take a risk but at least try and get more players in their box.

Got what we deserved. It would be a sick note ex Arsenal striker getting the winner. We cant defend for shit. Fucking woeful. Shape of the team is all wrong. Too many look way of it. Trying to fit in Witz and Salah were starting games with 9 players. I said if we lose to Palace i would fine Ekitike three weeks wages. Donate his wages to Matt Beard family.
Im sure Utd will be desperate to bring in Glasner before we play them. He's got Slot number and knows how to beat him. Mind you, If Guehi couldnt leave Palace in the lurch, Glasner would be a fucking hypocrite if he did.

Big issues at the start of the season have been the form of MacAllister, Gakpo and Salah. Terrible all 3. An apart from Ekitike, all of the new players have struggled to find any kind of rhythm.

Money we’ve spent on our squad compared to Palace yet they were the dominant team again. Slot really finding out about one or two.

Konate was to busy having a wrestling match.. My issue with Isak and i thought this before he came. is the lack of being able to press.. he'll get goals... But with Newcastle he got in the box for chances.. We dont have the quick enough wide men to get around the sides so he can get into the area.. he'll always be forced to play front on and deep at times..

Out of the three I excuse only Isak for that grade.

He shouldn't ahve been playing today but for Ekitike's brain-fart moment against the Saints.

I know Slot would never do this, but personally I'd be starting Gomez over Konate, with the sort of tripe he latter is serving.
If nothing else to send the club heirarchy a message as to what needs to be prioritized in the January window.

Mo, I don't know what we'll do about his poor form, but this 'untouchable' status of his (in the starting lineup) is starting to cost us.

I think Isak will come good once he gets more match fitness, and some more goals under his belt to help him get going.

Palace have always had the same type of player , and we struggle against them , athletic strong quick players who are coached to play well. Some players shouldn’t keep there place , Salah is no longer undroppable , he should be dropped . With wirtz , I would play chiesa ekitike and gakpo as a front three , give him a kick up the ass

Unless we are going to set up to give him the space he needs in front of him, he either needs to be played up front, which isn't going to happen, or he needs to be one of the wide players in a front three, again something that I don't think is going to happen.

A bigger budget to play with, and a lower bar to clear.
