Our best midfielders are Szobo,Grab and Mac. Wirtz being accommodated means others are being shifted around.
He's compromised everything that was good about last season.

He has no cross in him either.
And combined with Frimpong's inability to cross (so far), it effectively means we have no threat from the wings.

I always said that if Gakpo doesn't develop an ability to effectively cross and use that skill he has for cutting in to make his game more dangerous, he's never going to be anything more than a predictable one-dimensional attacker.

Cut in.
Look for the shot.

Every defender knows he does this and every one of them know how to stop him.

Mo didn't become a more complete attacker until he learned how to develop and use an effective cross into the box and stop being essentially the same version of what Gakpo is on the other wing (although he has a more effective shot).
