Mix the passing up, have plenty of variation, use the switches, use the long to medium diagonals play in to Mo and Chiesa a bit longer with their full back or midfielder quickly supporting them to move us forward far quicker and give us that intensity cut and thrust and ability to rapidly create chances out of nowhere back again

Posted an article in the matchthread that with Chiesa, Slot was unsure if we could add Chiesa to the CL matchday squad for Leoni - as he is out for more than 2 months with a hig injury.

Now Slot seems to have confused things a little. Grav seems caught between the 6 and the 8… Macca looks have asleep - bizarrely - as though he needs a pre season..? Then there’s Wirtz ..? One thing is for certain - Chelsea won’t have a clue what we are planning.

I doubt he will go in with Dom at RB. You can't play Jones in the middle. hes not up to it.. I think we'll start with the traditional 3 of Grav Macca and Dom. You can bring on Jones later on when Macca tires.. we'll probably start with Bradley and have Frimpong replace Salah if hes being slack again..

It’s crazy when you think that we spent all that money and didn’t bring someone in to offer competition there , move Endo on for a nominal fee , get rid of jones and bring another midfielder in who can play naturally deep . It’s a huge oversight, imagine the stability a good dm and Marc guehi would provide to this side , I can see them buying another cb in January and going for guehi on a free next year

Thing is players want to be assured of playing most games, its not easy telling a person thats replacing Endo you will only start a few games a season. and on the defender situation we tend not to buy players for the sake of it. If we can't get better or similar to Guehi in January and teams don;t want to sell. we will probably stick with what we have and thats not enough.. but not stopped us before. I think its likely Robertson will be an option as a defender if needs be

That's why Gomez is so useful cos he can play a few positions. He's not the best but he is versatile. Right now will he be any worse than Konate?
