I also think he needs to be honest about chiesa , what is it , why isn’t he playing ? Why isn’t he coming on , it’s absolute nonsense , Salah and gakpo stinking the place on and he has come on and got winners , slot has big questions to answer

And the fact that he (Chiesa) is our form player at the moment (aside from Hugo) makes it even worse.

He's scored twice in the last 4 games he's been brought on or played in, and provided an assist in the other (the cup tie) in which he was the MOTM.

And yet he can't get a look in, while Mo gets over 90 minutes playing like crap.

And also worth mentioning that that was his literal first touch of the ball in over 15 minutes of playing by that point.

And I think it was also his last for the next 10 or so minutes after that.

I mean you could really feel Grav and Szobo's absence from the midfield when they were moved to the backline.
And Mr. Invisible's standard performance was a big part of that reason (...along with Wirtz's continued struggles to bed in)

Weirdly and it’s happened forever , managers have favourites and always play them even though the fan base can see they are not up
To it or playing poorly , it seems gakpo and jones are two of those, sport should always be about rewarding good performances, people in form , chiesa should feel

I really am struggling to see the point of everything moving Grav to CB unless it a necessity.
What's it gaining except negating our midfield threat?

If they don't win it this season - when it seems like we'll be struggling mounting any form of a title defense, and the City of old continues to look a thing of the past - then they really have to fire Arteta at the end of the season.

We haven't controlled one game this season. Maybe the first half against Everton and Atletico but we're hanging on in both games.
We've been absolutely shocking no question about it.

that's what I mean not exactly been a good watch apart from Everton, we've scraped every game due to some moments, was hoping things would get better, but now look those moments aren't happening and everything is getting worse.

Really is similar to watching man utd last season, team has no idea how they should be playing, just luckily we've got more players with individual moments.

Also another thing I can’t get my head around is how crap Bradley has become , for a period I actually wanted him to play in front of Trent , was it a purple patch , he looks bang average as in bottom half right back quality , thought he was going to be amazing , what’s going on

The squad is a mess, Kerkez of Bournemouth hasn’t turned up. Konate doesn’t want to play for his wage. Bradley not good enough, Frimpong is not really a right back and Slot has gone off him. Gravenberch needed help with another number 6. Didn’t replace Diaz, brought in Witz instead. Isak saga went on forever and effected other transfers. Konate,McAllister,Kerkez,Salah etc levels have fallen off a cliff.
