  • Liverpool V Brentford starting 11.

Won't be easy considering we played Wednesday and they have a full week..

    Mamardashvili
    Bradley
    Konate
    Virgil
    Roberson
    Macca
    Dom
    Wirtz
    Gakpo
    Ekitike
    Salah

Most of us would probably start Chiesa, but since hes not started 1 league game so far, thats likely to continue

Doubt Gravenberch will be ready and the idea of Jones starting in the DM role doesn't fill me with joy so picking Macca for that position for Saturday evening

One major change, we don’t know what formation he will go with for a kick off.

      So my two Penneth…

      Mamardashvili
      Bradley Konate VVD Kerkez
      Szoboszlai Jones
      Salah Wirtz Gakpo
      Ekitike

Really don’t want or see him starting Wirtz and MacAllister with what’s gone before, particularly away from home against Brentford. Think he’ll go with Wirtz.

Thought Jones (96% pass completion) and Szoboszlai (95% pass completion) worked pretty well once they sorted themselves out after conceding in midweek

Don’t see Robbo playing 90 on Wednesday starting again on Saturday.

Think it'll depend on Grav being fit, and is Bradley good to go again. Jones, and MacA, on the bench to start if either, or both, are out.

        In Slots 4231

        Giorgi
        Bradley Konate VVD Robbo
        Sobozla Grav
        Salah Wirtz Gakpo
        Ekitike

With a 442ish shape from last night's game

        Giorgi
        Bradley Konate VVD Robbo
        Wirtz Sobozla Grav Gakpo
        Salah Ekitike

Subs: Woodman, Gomez, Kerkez, Endo, Maca, Jones, Chiesa, Rio & Isak (assuming he'll be available)

          Why would you start salah?

Based on stats, chiesa has done more, should start.

no way will isak be fit- Look at palmer recovering from his groin injury, hopefully not as bad but no way will he make this game hopefully it's not long and starts firing soon otherwise by christmas we might be out of it.. might be a reverse of last year with arsenal running away with it.

are you drunk?? i said most would want Chiesa to start but it's not like he has ever started a league game. Isak is out.. so Salah will have to start..

              Are you dumb?

Why does salah HAVE to start, i'm sure chiesa can actually start.

Doubt he will but still.. my reply was to juststats anyway, not you.

If this is truly the case then Chiesa might as well just hang up his boots while he is here.

According to Slot, both Grav & Isak will face late fitness tests for tomorrow's game.

"Alex (Isak) is not too bad. He is a question mark for the weekend - let's see where he is. That's the same for Ryan."

Frimpong is out for a few weeks with a hamstring,
                    Alisson is expected back soon,
And Leoni is out for the season.

                    Thats the injury updates

Even if they both pass those tests, neither should play 90. Chiesa should start, Arne needs to carry on what he started midweek, no-one (Salah) is bigger than the team when form is poor. i'd be benching him anyway for not squaring to Wirtz. On another note, even if bradley stays fit until Frimpong gets back he picks up a lot of yellows like macca and will soon get a ban. Cant just keep putting Dom in there either, he needs a rest and if he gets injured we are in big trouble.

Think Grav will start myself, and Isak will be on the bench. Just giving an injury update. Neither injury/knock appears to be significant.

                        Further Detail
Oct 24: 'Jeremie is not in a good place. He's definitely not going to play today, tomorrow, or next week. His hamstring injury is going to take a while.'

Football is about adapting, over to Slot to figure it out.

Probably close - either way it will be very strange with potentially 4 ex reds on the pitch for the Bees.
