That’s how it looks at this moment, Things can change however - but sadly I also don’t see anyone but them winning it. The filth apart it’s the worst of all scenarios

meh to reliant on HaalandOriginally posted by Steveo View PostEze Hat Trick 4:1
City will need to pick up the pace - if they can I still think Arsenal could falter
Arsenal have slowly built the squad last few seasons and actually signed what they've needed
Could see them on top for a while with the age profile, and squad depth they can go out next summer and spend a shitton on one player now, I.E a left winger
They've done it right, where as we've totally fucked it, well run behind the scenes and transfer staff etc
Not sure why we didn't go for Hincapié or a similar player or even Mosquera who looks a steal for 15m, would've been better backup at least.
Like CCTV stated earlier in the season apparently we have better attackers and that over Arsenal..... so they just need to improve up front and they're laughing, not sure we do mind, defo not the depth anyway.Last edited by Kev0909; 23 November 2025, 10:59 PM.

Think those 2 or 3 years we had battling with City are outliers. No team has finished 2nd with 90+ points since.Originally posted by Steveo View PostMight be a little early to say that yet but yes - it’s not looking like a season where you are going to have to be brilliant to have a great chance of winning the title.
I do think that the league is currently far more competative than it has been for a while. There are lots of well drilled teams in the league (unfotrunately, we're not one of them!).
Arsenal have comfortably been the best side this season and it's going to take quite a collapse for them to be caught.Something, Something, Something, Dark Side

The Arse have been consistently spending and spending since they were an abject laughing stock and 40 points behind us. If the win it this season it will be their 4th consecutive season in 2nd or first spot. If they win it The actions of the Arsenal fans in all but forcing Kroenke hand - from zero to hero - into loosening the purse strings will be big factor in why.Originally posted by Kev0909 View Postmeh to reliant on Haaland

They are going to expand the Emirates too. It’s scary when you think of what we had with Jurgen and totally failed to build upon

Yep as I said also, they've really built the squad up, the depth is second to none, some really good signings that didn't cost the world, also they have some good youth that's helped beef the depth... we really need to look at ours, it's not good enough and it's not been good enough for a long timeOriginally posted by Steveo View PostThe Arse have been consistently spending and spending since they were an abject laughing stock and 40 points behind us. Losing at home when you are against 10 men for 80 plus minutes…. That is dire. Imo worse than losing 3:0 to Forrest.Originally posted by Kev0909 View Postat least there's something to be happy about and the utd fans aren't laughing anymore
Neverton - down to 10 men at Old Toilet on 13 mins - take the lead just inside the half hour and go on to win… Clean sheet too.
Be good to see the United fan comments about us quieten down a little.
