I think our buy-back for him is around £60m and kicks in come the Summer of 2027.

It sounds a lot like we have essentially taken a calculated risk of maybe paying a £25m loan/development fee if we want to (sell for £35m, buy for £60m, £25m the difference) have him as one of our options in the future.

Naturally if we feel he hasn't developed enough by then, we're under no compulsion to buy him.

I don't understand why we just didn't send him out on loan.

Seems daft to buy him back for nearly double what we sold him for.
