Based on what he's got out of the players he does have, if he asks FSG for another big wedge of cash he'll either be laughed out of the room, or he'll get the chop.

Slot needs to earn his money fast. Sorry. It's over the top reaction after 3 losses, but this is what 5 out of 6 in the PL with no sign of any reorganisation or progress?New players either don't fit the PL, are injury prone or simply aren't good enough. A total waste of probably the next three years transfer kitty. He's had his chances to make the team work. If there is no improvement by Christmas, he'll be gone.

I think he needs to make the big call and drop Mo for a couple of games.

When cutting-edge is absent, we can't be carrying Pianists who aren't playing in tune.

That's not to say that this is all on Salah as that is absolutely not the case, but we need to start seeing work ethic from all of our forwards to set the tone.
