Agree - never close to the player many expected for the money BUT had the heart of a Klopp player and nobody can deny that he created chaos. What are we creating right now..?. Sweet FA.. At the end of the day the team scored a shit ton more goals with Nunez than they are currently without him - poor composure or not - that’s before we mention the tragic sale of Luis.

Ekitike being dropped when flying didn’t help anyone and not starting him yesterday didn’t either at least he’s contributing and pressing when we do t have itOriginally posted by jozza800 View PostThere's no narrative Steveo.
Isak had one half chance on Saturday and Ekitike didn't touch the ball when he came on. Ekitike didn't get a sniff against City.
Ekitike started the season in excellent fashion but his numbers have fallen off.
And as I say, it's not really his fault, as it isn't really Isak's.
The system is absolutely hamstringing the team. There is so little movement in the side, zero one-twos, zero through balls. The midfield is virtually non-existant.
The team is 70% the side that's been in the last two title challenges. Having 7 or 8 players 'off form', suggests that there is something fundementally wrong.
Unfortunately it looks like it's all steming from the manager...
My reservation on Isak was always he offers nothing when you do t have the ball
Newcastle played 433 with him a lot and a lot of the chances they created for him came from winning it high going to the wide player then to Isak
I you want to play with a loan front man you have to have a great press and counter press genuine pacey and tricky wingers and a front man who works his balks off with and without the ball right across the line
We don’t have any of those things
Our front three isn’t anywhere near being in the top four best in the Premier League when it was the best for years
Diaz was twice the player Gakpo will ever be, he’s a decent squad player 2nd tier player who does a good job in a team that’s flying he’s no Mane and not even a Diaz
Chiesa’s a lot better than Gakpo, he’s creates and is inventive"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

Watching the match analysis and for the first goal, having given the ridiculous corner away, we proceed to mark their two CB’s with Salah and MacAllister.
Are we totally thick?? Is it any wonder we are conceding so many goals from set pieces?
In the League Cup Final, we continually detailed MacAllister to mark Dan Burn and then we looked shocked when he scored.
Absolutely pathetic it really is, at any level never mind Premier League"I am the Normal One."

Oh and by the way, we have a set piece coach who is doing sterling work.
This season’s figures.
Goals conceded 9 - 1 Goals scored
Liverpool's set-piece coach is Aaron Briggs, who was appointed to the full-time role in September 2025. He works alongside Lewis Mahoney, who joined the club as the first set-piece analyst at the same time. Briggs had previously been the individual development coach before shifting his focus to set-pieces."I am the Normal One."

The silver lining there is that the appointment of a different set piece coach might actually be a decent percentage gain that impacts both sides of the pitch.Originally posted by miller0863 View PostOh and by the way, we have a set piece coach who is doing sterling work.

9 conceded already from set pieces is poor reading.Your hobbies are rollerblading and you're also a bit of a rat-hound? Steel Wool
