I get what you're saying but there's no doubt that the wheels will already be in motion. People will be on a list.
Another 18 games of this shite is going to be tough going. Nothing is working, nothing looks like it's improving or evolving whatsoever. It's the same every game, the 8 or 9 unbeaten in most circumstances sees some shoots of growth but not from this. It's stagnant and like 19x says for 20 or so minutes we took the game to them and we're on top. We scored and then retreated and reverted to type. How many games is that now that we've dropped points in the closing minutes? There's a fair few games.
There's just too much caution in what he's doing and as a fan to watch it's simply awful football and so easy for the opposition to set up and get something from us. Whether it's now or later I just don't see him being there for it to ever be worked out. He won't get the time even if he's capable.

I agree Tees it’s better to get a manager in who plays the 433 press and counter pressing game that suits these players and the league and finish the season stronger in the top four ready to win it again next season

I think De Zerbi could be a good option as he thrived using that 433 system with Brighton and it had more variation and tweaks than ours that would suit our players

The ‘Arsenal fan with a grudge’ - is pretty exceptional. I mean I have a box full of my families Season tickets from the old main stand at Anfield. I do now live down south yet travel up to Liverpool at least 3 times a season to watch games at L4 as well as the odd away day. All to watch Liverpool FC.. Never to watch Arsenal - who I literally loathe.

If (big emphasis on "if") a change of Manager were to come, I too would be quite reluctant to do it during the season.

I can absolutely understand frustrations at present, but I also (ideally) want to see if Slot can turn it around.

To me, when you have been awful (which we were for a bit) you want to see 4 things -

- Stop the rot
- Get a decent unbeaten run in
- Having become more solid, slowly increase the risk in attacking players
- Become a side that regularly wins football matches in an entertaining fashion

The first two have been accomplished. We are really struggling with the third step (or Slot isn't yet pushing it) just now, but I do err towards seeing out the season to see if we can find it, then hopefully signs of the 4th step.

We might need a change - we might. However if we do, don't rush the decision. Don't go for "just anyone" and begin a cycle akin to that at Tottenham, Chelsea or Man United.

Hopefully Slot can find ways for those third and fourth steps to happen. If not, we'll have more options in the Summer for the coaching role than we would right now.

That’s a huge reason to stop the rot now and get us back playing as these players can and bring the most exciting and entertaining team to watch

The only reason he’s still here is the Yanks don’t understand the game and Edwards & Hughes would have to admit they fucked up being sold in Slot’s fatally flawed idea and spent 430m on it
