        I'm so over it, going to take years to sort this squad out and a lot of money, salah starts and plays because of player power, that's why he started today even though he's probably knackered from afcon and been shit anyway when he has played for us, but we can't upset lord salah, so...           How long do we have to put up with this,how we are as high in the table as we are i dont know,cant remember last league win it actualy feels a year ago.

            Years OR a lot of cash like city would spend.

            So years it is. I have said a few times that I think the lads up top know the squad is disjointed and we're willing to accept a drop this season. In the summer I expect a big outlay on cb and midfield.

            We need at least 2 CBs in the summer. But they need to be cb that can start. Konate is going. Virgil needs replacing.

              You do wonder how long he can hang on for. If this run of form continues there's absolutely no way we make the top four and after the money spent it's the absolute minimum that would have been expected.
              We're still in the CL but the chances of is winning it I'd say are remote and it's a gamble to hang onto that hope.
              One question is though is this. People are advocating for Alonso. Personally I'm not sure he's the answer so if for instance FSG also have doubts who do they go for?
              Enrique won't be going anywhere until summer, Nagelsman also. Whoever else linked is tied up elsewhere until summer so it leaves them in a real pickle. Stick with Slot and run a massive risk or cut him loose and bring in an interim if it's not going to be Alonso.
              Very worrying situation but one things certain and that is we are simply treading water at the moment.

                Until it's mathematically impossible or highly unlikely that we'll qualify for the following season's CL.

                  Surely people look at this wretched run of form and see that it's unlikely. If Utd manage to get something tomorrow we can really start worrying....

                      Agree. Imagine if the season had started against Palace, we'd be firmly in the bottom half, we absolutely stole points in those first 6.

                            I’d hook Slot now as he’s seriously pissing sone of the players off and if he misses Champions League they might agitate for a move and they’re not playing as well because of the system and style change
