Many of us were raving about Kerkez - go watch him last season. He was flying. Has looked shyte for us tho. Robbo has hardly been a world beater of late either.

It’s the entire side - Szobozlai the only player consistently performing.

They are all off it BUT to be fair to the new fellas - coming into a side with zero intensity… That’s tough - with the expectations

I was never impressed with Isak before we signed him. Just looks headless.. he maybe good around the box. but has a link up player. he doesnt have it.

Not for 120milliom anyway. Once we had Ekitike we didn't need to spend that much on him. A cb and a dm would have been better for that cash.

we do need another forward, we only got Isak and Ekitike. and the latter went off injured. I would have preferred Seymeno over Wirtz.. And we need an out and out wide man. Gakpo doesn't have a left foot and cant go around the side. That means to keep the width you are forced to play Kerkez up alongside him. means your fucked on the counter..If Gakpo could stretch the play around the back on his own.. would help.but he can't

We winged it, and it worked. It wouldn’t work 9 seasons in 10..you’ll see at least 2 key injuries a season doing that most times. Never rotating - just same team. It gives you massive consistency BUT the risk is huge.

It combined well with massive and repeated key injuries to Arsenal and crucially a duck and hide City team reeling from 115… These were Klopp’s players playing as they were drilled by Jurgen. They win that title - the instant the end was in sight the mental and physical fatigue appears. Watch the game in Paris. We were smashed. kicked it 0:1 but the writing was on the wall.
