Could Zidane get a tune out of our rotten lot. I don't think he's done anything since the Real Gig......?.

I like Slot but can't stand our defence.
Forget 442 or 433. Play 550. We're shit right now so the only way out is to play the tactics of a shit team.
If we get a series of nil nil draws then I'd be happy with that. Get solid at the back and confidence will grow from back to front. I'm a Slot must stay man

He can't speak English. He also wants to manage the French national team.

The in-vogue thing is Basque/Catalan lads with excellent careers in midfield.

            Pep Guardiola
            Mikel Arteta
            Xavi Hernandez
            Xabi Alonso
            Cesc Fabregas

If the stakes weren't as high as they are and if he had more experience (assistant to Hansi Flick, not had time to get a few Managerial roles) I'd happily give Thiago Alcantara a shot until the end of the season. Similar to Xabi, he has been coached by some top Managers.

Fantasy land and too high-risk so it would never happen (and is too early), but given his footballing intelligence and charisma/aura, it would be little surprise if he is one of the better coaches or prospects in 3-7 years if he selects the right jobs.

Since everyone now thinks it's the done thing to start suggesting replacements....
Zidane..never. Doesn't even speak Eglish. His only success has been coaching (in this case 'picking a team') of talented Galacticos in a two horse league.
Andone Iraola..maybe. I like him. Bournemouth play great football. Premier league proven. And he could get a tune out of Kerkez.
Alonso. ..maybe. Seems to have upset a lot of the dressing room at Madrid. Think he will definitely have Liverpool on his managerial CV at some point. Maybe not now though.
Klopp. Not for me. I love him and they say 'never go back' and it's usually true.
Luis Enriqiue..don't know if he has satisfied himself at PSG yet. They play great football. Would suit Liverpool attacking style. Speaks English well. Seems like an all round good guy.
Mascherano.. I remember when his career was ending at Barca the media reckoned that him and Alonso were the two ex Liverpool players who would go on to have outstanding managerial careers. Can't judge him in Miami though.
Nagelsmann. Hmm. Don't think so. He knows how to get Wirtz playing well, but he seems a bit arrogant and prickly. Probably has no idea how tough the prem is.
Definitely not Gerrard, I would even rather have James Milner before him.

I thought about De Zerbi, are doing good on Marselha and he out the teams play good football... I always like his team play along Premier league but I confess I don't watch French league, but I saw them on Champions league and I liked

It’s the manager formation and tactics that are the problem

                  Jurgen , Glasner or Howe

Jurgen Klopp is committed to his role as Red Bull's head of global soccer and a return to Liverpool is unlikely should Arne Slot leave Anfield. (Telegraph)

Hopefully that puts an end to that.. I'd love Klopp to come back at some point.. But he did almost a decade at our club. can you see him doing 4/5 more years? its a big ask and theres no point in him returning for a season or 2. we need a long term manager..
