Smacked of a player a bit low on confidence wanting to place it and dreading putting the laces through it in case he skies it and looks daft.

Hopefully be gets a goal soon to lift the confidence and we see more conviction in those scenarios in future.

Think we have largely been "okay" today but nothing great - a mid-table performance for a side in mid-table.

Last season we were often a bit "meh" in the first half and then improved in the second. If that proves to be the case today I will absolutely take it.

Work rate was improved We’re still a fucking mile off a good press and counter press, we just don’t pick up or be close enough it’s why we’ve become too easy to play through, we need to get back to smothering teams with the press and counter press and any time they half clear it being a new point of attack for us

Lets see if he can get stronger and more productive. Its fine looking like a technically marvellous individual.. but when you do sod all. You do sod all.

A clean sheet today would be a good step forward. Clean sheets win you games more often than not and we haven’t been keeping them.

A win is the preference obvs but if we can’t I would rather a 0-0 today than a 1-1.
