Its either a fear of making a timely change (not a good trait for a manager whose team is underperfoming) or he is extremely loyal to his countrymen. I like Cody. He's steady and a trier and is ok if the other 2 forwards are tearing it up but a fronting of 3 Codys wouldn't he good enough.

Need to be directing each other and encouraging and demanding better positioning in our pressing

Absolute garbage from us so far. So many sloppy giveaways in our own half and allowing the opposition way too many touches in our box already.

We’re not sharp at all, we don’t look up for it.

Be more aggressive in our pressing and get our intensity and tempo up here

Come the FUCK on Liverpool get yourselves in front here NOW!

Need to make the incisive forward pass a lot quicker and be more direct when it’s on here

We’re letting them get numbers back behind the ball with our slow tempo and over passing

Isak with a nice shimmy to gain space in a dangerous area - but the strike was less than stellar

Let’s be honest - we’ve been dire so far. Going to need a moment of magic or a mistake to get ahead and if we don’t step it up - we are going behind

I genuinely cannot see what we are trying to do here.
Twenty minutes in and that was our first touch in their box. Being dominated at home by Sunderland

Go fucking back to front a few times here, just wave our lads up the pitch and launch it to Gakpo for Robbo or Macca to pick up the second ball
