Likely to be a very tough night away to Inter, who are flying in Serie A. They are scoring more goals than any other team in that league and by some distance. Averaging over 2 a game.
I expect a massive performance of togetherness..... and every single player working hard as they can, like they'll get shot otherwise....... and a show of support for the manager after the salah drama

I rarely engage with these threads these days, but if we are without Gakpo on the left, without Salah on the right (different circumstances, granted) then we could consider solidifying the left side as much as possible by doing something like play Kerkez ahead of Robertson if persisting with our current methodology.
OR given how predictable we are, we could throw the dice somewhat and surprise Inter with a Diamond set-up, something I've wanted to see from us for quite a while now, given our personnel.
Could theoretically field something akin to the following -
.........................Alisson
Bradley.....Gomez....Van Dijk....Robertson
......................Gravenberch
..............Szoboszlai........Jones
...........................Wirtz
.................Isak..........Ekitike
Couple of positions where I'm not hugely bothered about individual personnel - Robbo v Kerkez, Mac Allister v Jones etc
We'd be narrow and a touch harder to break down in the half-spaces, Jones could cover Robbo (or Kerkez if he plays) when he forays forward, Szoboszlai we know could cover Bradley.
Inter would also not likely be expecting us to field a front two and whilst there's every possibility that the Dice-roll doesn't pay off, I am definitely in the "f**k it, why not?" camp at the moment.
If it's effective, we know it's something we can try again in our post-Salah future, which sadly looks like it may be coming quicker than most of us would have envisaged.
