Although i strongly believe its all happening above slot and salah could be gone.
Would have thought the 4 3 1 2 with salah playing as one of the two with eritikie.
Salah seems to playing very wide and tries to get past 2 or 3 players isnt working.

You forgot to mention yourself. Players know how a club works far more than you. And Salah has been criticised by almost every ex-player for going to the press.

Everyone involved could act like grown ups and sit down and have a proper conversation about it. But that looks beyond most modern day footballers. Spoilt since they were kids and multi-millionaires before they were legally allowed to drive. It's natural that they throw the toys out of the pram when they don't get what they want. Don't defend that behaviour.

When was he coming on at Leeds?

We scored withing minutes of conceding the equaliser. Would you have brought him on in a game we were winning and looking to see it out? And Leeds scored with virtually the last kick of the game.

He got a 45 minute run-out against Sunderland and was terrible again.

To a man, we all wanted him dropped. He wasn't just out of form, he was stinking the place out. But I agree he's been 'thrown under the bus' in terms of him being singled out, he would be well within his right to point out Konate, Mac and Isak have been stinking the place out as well.

But whatever his grievances are, he cant be airing it in the press.

He was dropped for 3 games - all fine… He has to come on v Leeds probably at 2:0… but ok… likely at 2:1 but still ok… - by 2:2 it’s obvious we are going to need a goal. and by 2:3 it’s arguably too late.

He has to come on. And I am shocked you don’t see it Jozza

I'm not bringing on a player who isn't going to track back when we're ahead. And as I say, there was literally minutes between us condeding the equaliser and going ahead again.

Had we been 2-0 down at half-time, or even level then yes, i'd have brought him on. As I am sure Slot would have as well (as he did v Sunderland).

Yep, he wasn't alone in being the only player having a terrible start to the season and he should be angry with being the one to be scapegoated. I would be furious in the same situation. But i'd have gone and told the manager, not the press.

There's lots Slot has got very wrong this season. Dropping Mo isn't one of them.

I have agreed over and over he should have been dropped. Please read what I have said first

Now these 2 are both making a living on TV and their association with the club is key to that and even THEY both feel this way…

I mean Come on. The background here cannot be ignored.

And both also agree he was deservingly dropped. Dropped isn’t the point, Dropped isn’t the driving force behind Mo’s outburst - it’s the fact that in the 3rd successive game of being dropped - when we looked to be coasting - he wasn’t thought of - as in go on Mo go try and get yourself a goal and back in form..,, Then when the coasting ended and we clearly needed more threat going the other way - he was completely overlooked.

                    Thats some knock

Now a top manager of top players KNOWS THIS. This is what Seedorf was on about and what Stevie G and Macca are on about. He was ignored like an irrelevance. The fact that so many seem to find this confusing is alarming

Good to hear Slot IS going to talk to him today….

I don’t know about most of you but I am hoping for a resolution that works for ALL parties not just those who want to cash in.

For his own sake maybe Slot could have handled it differently. I don't think Mo is the easiest to handle as he looks to have a huge ego and has been the main man at Liverpool for a good few years, even more so as the team has dwindled, losing players like Mane, Firmino, Hendo, Wij and Trent. He did carry us a lot last year to be fair.

On the flip side, I find it hard to disagree with Slot for benching him. He really hasn't shown much this season and his attitude has stunk. He's now confirmed what his attitude was publically. I think it would be hard for the manager to back down then and put him back in because other players like Szobo are busting a gut. Mo is supposed to be a leader there.
From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down, I convulsed with laughter. Someday I intend on reading it. Groucho Marx

Start Hugo and Alex if fit. And if Isak not fit start Chiesa. And if we're winning keep them both on. Mo to get last 5 mins to say his goodbyes

Just read that and understand why glory hunters can never be pleased.

None of us really know what's going on behind the scenes. Salah is out of favour. He needs to pull on his big boy pants and deal with it.

In case anyone forgot, the rest of the lads put in a fantastic performance against Inter, without Mo. That's what we should be focusing on. How to build on that.

Merson again.. Bang on with many points..

Think he should be calling out Mo for his actual words but the rest.. And it's the opinion of most top players too..
