Liverpool U18’s 4-2 Stoke City U18’s

Finally the U18’s have won their first home game of the season at their 6th attempt.
They came from 2-0 down at half time to score four in reply in the final 25minutes.

The U18’s have been scored 37 goals in their opening 12 games this season, bettered only by League leaders Man City (43). However, if you were wondering why we have been buying young CB’s all over the place since the window opened, we have the leakiest defence in the league, having conceded a whopping 42 League goals in our opening 12.

Current record W5 D1 L6. Work to do in the Academy but at least they appear to be addressing the situation by going into the market.

They could do with replicating that market activity with the first team squad ..
