      • Wirtz has this weird thing where he takes a second or two to deliver the ball after it was first on, he did that with that pass and it got Isak injured

It was a classic Isak goal as I’ve been describing from having watched him lots at Newcastle, we had 3 up, win it, move it as quickly and directly as possible he made the run from a little deeper than the CBs

That’s how he scores and why playing 4231 with Isak is a shit idea he scored a lot for Newcastle as thry played 433 and how always set a great press with the midfield 3 and 2 wide forwards they’d win it, release either wide forward who’d play the ball in behind the defence or cut it back for Isak to arrive onto

This must be his new thing. Complete rubbish but I suppose we're going to hear a lot more of it.

I haven't watched that goal back but my instinct is that if Wirtz gives the ball any earlier then the defender gets there first. But arguing facts is pointless. Let him ramble.

          • Newcastle last season were mostly

            Pope

            Livremento CRTF Schar Burn

            Gumaraes Tonali Linton

            Murphy Isak Gordon/Barnes

In terms of link play Isak usually stayed just a little deeper than the CBs sometimes venturing right, just laid it back or to Murphy and it went to Murphy, Gordon or Barnes released in behind the defence so Isak had the run on them

To be fair to him - it was a nasty one. The position of his knee - his body movement and the heavy challenge all combining to full effect, Any player is at risk from injury in that scenario

Not saying he's a joke, just the situation, never ending for him/us

we worked with him slowly & worked on his fitness... boom scores looking sharp.. cya later here we go again...the cycle repeats

                • for those who couldn’t catch the game, ‘YNWA Reds’ here again with an honest and detailed breakdown from a genuine fan.

Many of the real fans are concerned - and with good reason.

Oh and for Jokestrap (& sons)
“Away an' boil yer head. Calling folk Glory Hunters then championing a performance that was absolute dross just because we fluked a win? Total bampot. It’s the fans who actually care about the club that are worried - only the true glory-chaser settles for a lucky three points and wants no lament when the football is that bad.

                  • slot gets away with his 4 2 3 1 and will continue with it.
he refuses to see the better performances with a 3 man midfield.
almost(almost)hoping we get beat if we can get rid of him

                    • I didn't champion the performance. Not once. It wasn't great but there were enough positives to take from the game.

Unlike you mob, I can be balanced in my opinion.

And stop posting that fella on here. This isn't an advertising platform.

                      • We should've won that easily yesterday, Spurs were awful and couldn't string 2 passes together. Luckily for us our 2 top strikers got us the win and again our defence shit itself with a bit of pressure put on it.
                        But at least we won.

That's exactly the type of glory hunting that sets the tone around here. The expectation that we should go away from home and win easy. Dim wits talking about football when they should be watching ping pong.

Job done. A good 3 points and everything to look forward to over the Christmas period.

What's that, 6 unbeaten now? And climbing the table nicely.

Even the Cigar Smoking Wrinkled Dick would struggle to keep a straight face while spouting this kind of bullshit...following a game where we were abject - virtually throughout against a side with the worst home record in the league v 11 - then v 10 and then v 9….this level of Spin tells everyone just what you are…

                            Not a fan.

I will continue to post whatever I like also - thanks. If it highlights your bullshit - it will get posted all the more…

You’re a stain on the forum. A complete fake and the more you scramble in trying to cover your tracks the worse it gets for you..

                            • Mac Allister remains a worry, he's even more anonymous in the 10 role than he was as one of the two deeper midfield roles.

                              • You'll have to show me where I was championing the performance Victor. You're not even stupid enough to believe those quotes prove anything.

Do you know what championing the performance means? Do you even understand what you write?
