My initial thought when Isak went off, because it’s him what ever the injury we wont see him play for a while. Rumours now saying it could be a bad one. I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see him again this season. Paying stupid money for an injury prone player was never going to end well.

If it is a broken leg, the recovery time can vary, massively.

If he just has a Fibula fracture then he would be out for anywhere between 6-10 weeks or so, if it's accompanied with a suitable surgery.

If he has Syndesmosis as well, then you're talking a 3-month minimum.

A Tibia fracture would be more serious - you're talking at least 3 months and maybe even right up to 5 months, which would (pretty much) end his season at the upper end of that timeframe.

2)Having seen the replay of the challenge.. it was obviously a red card. but since Isak scored it didnt matter.. The amount of shit that happens to our players IE late challenges is ridiculous. but since we have corrupt Manchester fucking cunts of refs they seem to take delight in not protecting us
