In the 6 games he missed while on AFCON duty we dropped 8 points. 4 draws and 2 wins. 10 points from 18.. that's poor. In our last 6 we have taken 12 points..!
In the first 6 games of the season he played every game and we won 5 out of 6 and took 15 points from 18.... We were still shyte to the eye.
Salah has gone to the dogs for sure - and nobody knows how much of that was compounded by his treatment at the time we really needed him. He was awful last night but the only one to score and he has assisted 3 times since coming back from International tournament football. Not great - but it's the same number of assists in 6 games as Cody has mustered ALL SEASON! Salah is a problem .... but he isn't THE problem.

Do I need to keep repeating myself?
The eye test also tells you that Salah, Macca and Gakpo have been shite all season.Originally posted by JockStrap View PostTrying to apply team stats to an individual is folly. There are all sorts of weird coincidences, like we never lost a league game at Anfield when Shaqiri played. Was that all down to him?
You are right that the eye test tells you all you need to know. We are badly missing Wirtz. For one thing he's the only attacker capable of linking with Ekitike. Salah, Macca and Gakpo are just passengers at this point. That's not tactical. It's players not doing enough.

Nobody is disputing the fact that these players have been miles off it - almost as Shyte as Arne Slot.
But it's more. Virgil's form dipped for a long spell. Konate was utter garbage for much of the season until lately. Grav has been a pale shadow of the man we saw last season. Isak played and we lost almost every game he featured in... Who Where What..?
What could it be..?

Some fans have a weird fucking notion that you pay players £400K per week and then explain to them how to play footie. Here's a ball Mo, this is how you kick it. Fucking hell.Originally posted by Kev0909 View PostHow is slot meant to stop Salah walking around and not arsed in the slightest, stick a rocket up him or what ?
And gakpo's that bad he's even stopping us from scoring.

Or we can agree that it's a collective of things, not just Slot & Salah.... noone is right or wrong here, noone is also to blame fully, they all are to blame together including people behind the scenes, I don't need to name the obvious players/staff.Originally posted by Steveo View PostThe entire forum can what's going on here.. it's all Mo Salah's fault. Should have binned him after his record breaking season. Who's running this show.?
It has been a unprofessional season&summer all round, by everyone only some players deserve credit fucking Briggs as set piece coach ffs just a example.
Salah disgusts me more, I thought better of him, he's not even arsed, 400k a week..... acts entitled to start..... then there's gakpo what the fuck ?? Maca?? oh sorry he had a few good games so lets not forget he's been a ghost most of the season..... never mind playing with 10 men it's like we play with 9Last edited by Kev0909; 4 March 2026, 12:38 PM.

Maybe we could start wtih you answering the question about who is responsible for a player's form.Originally posted by Steveo View PostThe entire forum can what's going on here.. Thanks Admin

What do you think Steveo? You seem a little confused as to where the blame might fall.

This is the "All Aboard the Slot Express" thread ...
"Maybe we could start" on "Who is responsible for a player's form" while the bulk of the squad is performing well below par and most of the key men have gone to shyte... with the real question: Who is in control of this mess?
If anyone is trying to point the finger at Mo.. Then we can assume they either know that Mo is in control OR they are actively spinning a narrative.

Subbing off Kanote and bringing on Chiesa was Salahs decision as well.Originally posted by Steveo View PostThis is the "All Aboard the Slot Express" thread ...

That made perfect sense.
