So Klopp didn't have to integrate 4 new mids?

So Klopp wasn't going for a quad until late in the season?

So Klopp didn't suffer an injury crisis?

So Klopp didn't announce he was leaving mid way through the season with his team sat top of the league?

So Slot didn't have the benefit of the new midfield with a season of Klopp' management under their belts?

So Slot didn't benefit from a season where both major rivals went to shyte?

YOU are comparing the same players in 2 totally different seasons. A midfield in it's second season.

Even a 12 year old knows this is not a fair comparison. But Apparently the "I'm not a shill - honest' fella can't..

    Ok..

Oh yes - combining to gain us a massive extra 2 points. And we weren't bullied at Wembley and we weren't schoolled by PSG.. and we haven't lost 18 or so games this calendar year... Probably Cause Slot hasn't had any backing..

We got plenty of good spankings under Klopp. But this thread isn't about that.

And for the calendar year, how did we do last season? League winners I believe. And how are we doing this season? Top 4.

          Awful times, isn't it.

We did - but I don't recall 3 things.. Nothing like 18 or so games lost in a year. and nothing like the mahusive fuckload of dosh this summer. _ still less than my team up the Arsenal though.. . and nothing - NOTHING like the turdball we are watching this season.

nope not being snidey or having a dig at klopp, just asking the questions

Unlike you with Slot, a little ironic ? whatever you say he won our SECOND TITLE in how many years again? some people should have some respect and give him some credit it- not his fault Klopp left-- Klopp might have stayed, who's to say he'd have won it ????? A bit of a plonker for leaving really if he thought for sure we had a really good chance? hence my questions makes you wonder.. why would you leave? when you've built that team, as you say.

But this is going nowhere anyway have a good night everyone, keep warm smile like you mean it, take care.

Naah .. but I don't have it in for Slot at all. I have not once called for him to be sacked. I don't like where we are going but I don't think it is all on Arne.

What you were trying with Klopp's legacy was snide kev.. And I find that low about a man who did so much for this club.

Have a good lay down and sleep on it..

Do you remember how we did the season after Klopp won the title? Think back.

                    So why change from that?

If it ain’t broken don’t fix it

By your account he improved on what one of the very best managers ever achieved using that managers formation system and players

                    Why change?

                    Why sell Diaz and Nunez?

Why buy Wirtz instead of the best available false 9?

If there were a Slot express he derailed it himself

                    A few things

That was Klopp’s new midfield bedded in one season that makes a huge difference for all other players and they were the best midfield THREE last season WHY CHANGE IT?

Diaz was back from long term injury hurt in Klopp’s last season he was back to his very best we bought him for the following season having fully recovered, that makes a difference for the entire front line

Gakpo had his first child and a very obvious new baby boost last season he has failed to build on this

Why change? To an unfamiliar system that doesn’t play to our players strengths and destroys time built mechanics of the entire team

Why not just buy Ekitike, a ball playing No6 a RB and a long term replacement for Mo?

Why play forwards who performed so much better that season 10 yards deeper in a system they’ve never played when they’re forwards not attacking mids or wingers

All you’re serving to do is expose Slot’s arrogance and idiocy in changing the system that won the title instead of building on it

                      Slot:

My philosophy on football hasn't changed
It's the same manager with the same approach.

Yes - and that was all on the owners. Had you been here long enough you would know my stance. Anyone can tell you - I bored them all rigid with it, Selling Lovren - no replacement… A shattered squad that reached the CL final - then took 97 points and won the CL - F$G screw you we got bills to pay,,,, then took 99 points and we sold Lovren and didn’t replace, Shattered players yet we went into at title defence with 1.5 senior CB’s. Sucknote free transfer Matip - and made of glass Gomez… And we all know what happened next.

And the circle is complete. When Klopp fails it's all the owners fault. When Arne fails it's all his fault.

Arsneal pre-match presser. Arne keeping his cards close to his chest regarding whether Ekitike will play or not.

That's a really good presser for those that can watch without prejudice. About 10% of the forum, or less.

He answers a lot of the questions that have been floating around.

Wannabe fantasy football managers who think he has changed style should definitely watch it. You would learn something.
