You listen to his post match interview and he just points out the obvious things that have been wrong all season, all the things he's done nothing about and not reacted to.
Who the fuck believes he turns this around? There can't be a single fan.
He's surely getting sacked after the last game. How can he not.The defining moments in our lives are never planned.

He's certainly showing the signs of a Manager that hasn't faced this kind of adversity before.Originally posted by RedMagic View PostHe certainly likes to use the words "clear" and "obvious". If things are so "clear and obvious", why the fuck isn't he fixing those things? It's because he's incapable of fixing them.
Some Managers are fair-weather ones and can keep a happy squad ticking along with no issues, but struggle when shit hits the fan.
Others are brilliant at creating the fight and grit needed to stave off relegation but could never maximise a top-level side's fullest potential.
Slot at the minute - and indeed all season really, has looked like a "nothing" of a Manager, which is a bit mad given how well things went at Feyenoord and he comfortable most of last season was. So often the changes in tactics mid-match and the substitutions were bang-on whereas this season he looks absolutely bereft of ideas.
An obvious problem when comparing to previous Slot teams is that we currently don't have pace in wide areas with players that can square someone up one-on-one and take them on. Rio is doing it of late which is a treat (though through skill, not raw pace) but overall we have lacked. I'd be sympathetic to some degree to a Manager that has always set up with pacey wide players being without them - but you absolutely HAVE to be able to find effective alternative solutions and the field in which he grows any tactical ideas is quite clearly barren. The womb in which he births solutions utterly infertile.
It's a shite watch all-round and the opportunity cost of us not acting is pretty scary unless (and I don't see it) he ends up getting the exact player profiles he wants and suddenly makes it work, which just feels so, so ridiculously unlikely right now.
Very troubling. That said, if there is one fix I want to see this Summer and only one, it's sorting out our conditioning. There is no way a squad with this much talent in it should look this weak and this lethargic - no way!Your hobbies are rollerblading and you're also a bit of a rat-hound? Steel Wool

I understand that slot had a lot of injuries and unfit players yesterday but a better manager would set up accordingly with it calling for a change of formation(4 3 3?)instead he stuck with 4 2 3 1 and players out of position.
Terrible manager.

Yep he has nuclear with that statement. This part is telling:Originally posted by teesred View PostSalahs statement to me is him telling FSG they need to sack that manager. Not even thinly veiled either.
"Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it. "

For me this is clearly about the wider club - and certainly not just Slot, He is talking about a group that were believers - now as impotent doubters.
Salah isn’t like most in here - still under the illusion that we have a manager. We don’t. It was actually made very clear by the owners. The entire structure now is a pyramid,
F$G CEO of Football
Director or Football
Head Coach.
Slot going will likely appease most of us in the short term - but little is likely to change that much. Klopp was the anomaly. Klopp was the only way this club gets close to the top with these owners.
As with the devil Starmer going - little will change. Our captive political system just a game to fool the minions into choosing one detritus after another in protest - a sham.. a pretence at democracy for the low of iq …. while both work toward the same end

Either he has made yet another bad decision by deciding to join that clown show, or our own bunch of clowns haven't even considered sacking Slot and trying to get Alonso to become our new manager.Originally posted by miller0863 View PostReally don’t believe for one minute he would turn us down if we approached him.
Either way it's a cluster-fuck of epic proportions.
