    We'll see soon enough.
I said in one of the videos of his (I think my comment might have been shadow-banned), that I think him and his "source" mate are being used by the club.

He had decried this phenomenon in the past where the club puts out unofficial "press" statements through their sources talking to Media members reporting "leaks" that are clearly just parrotting club talking points that they think will mollify the fans, but are too cowardly to come out and officially take a stand on, or be questioned over.

And yet it never occurred to him the timing that his mate is getting this news and information?
(After yet another embarrassing crumbling defeat that's left fans angry once again at the manner it happened...
Mo's statement, and the fact that it was roundly supported and liked by present and former players.....
    Alonso just being announced as Chelsea manager...;
News coming out that LFC never even talked to him about the managerial position, and instead felt that his style wasn't in line with the style of football they want played at Anfield (how do they know we wasn't willing to adapt if they never talked to him or his people?....It's the Guehi /Semenyo fuck-up all over again))

Suddenly we get a leak just ever so conveniently timed letting us know that the club are in agreement with Mo and that Slot's days are numbered?

    I call bullshite.

If it were true then stand behind it.
Let out an official statement stating that the club have mutually decided to amicably part ways with Slot at the end of the season and that while a replacement hasn't been decided upon, it will be one in keeping with what was expressed in Mo's statement in terms of getting Liverpool back to playing in a style the fans deserve.

That can't be so hard to do? Instead of these snidely "source" leaks through their press insiders (....which.....fuck these guys. Doing the Club's dirty work and PR bidding with fans. All the Lynch's and Pierce's of the press class. Fuck all of them).

Which is why I've always been of the position that Liverpool FC's problems don't end with Slot's departure.
    He was merely a symptom.

It'll be a start to their end, by the departure of them two that kept him in longer than he should have been and will no doubt be wanting credit for finally getting rid of him almost a year later than they should have.

    • You are spot on mate… absolutely hit the nail on the head. But Edwards and Hughes are just a symptom of something much bigger - the real disease is the frauds in Boston.

It’s the exact same cowardice we saw with Diaz and when they fucked up the Guehi and Semenyo deals… using their client journalists to spin the narrative. The second we have another embarrassing defeat… Mo drops a statement the dressing room rallies behind… and Alonso goes to Chelsea - suddenly the press pack gets a "convenient" leak about Slot’s days being numbered? Most likely bullshit . If they had any balls… they’d put out an official statement.

Instead… they rely on Lynch and Pearce to do their dirty PR work and mollify the fans.
This is exactly why the problems don't end with Slot or the suits who sit above him.

Don’t forget John Henry pulled off the ultimate heist here. He bought a sleeping giant, a global powerhouse for peanuts in 2010… made the fans and the club pay for all its upgrades out of our own pockets… and relied on the absolute genius of Klopp to turn a £300m investment into a £4bn empire without ever risking a penny of his own wealth.

The moment Klopp left… they lost their ultimate human shield. So they immediately ripped up a fundamental pillar of the club to protect themselves from the spotlight. No more traditional manager… instead we get a corporate cocoon.

An FSG CEO of Football sitting above a Director of Football… sitting above a head coach. It’s a massive corporate buffer zone designed to absorb the flak so that when things go south… the blame lands entirely on the coach… then on to Hughes & Edwards… and never on the frauds in Boston using the club for the collateral and leverage it affords them.

Incredible really. Does anyone have a bigger ego than slot? Nothing is ever his fault.

"So we're happy that we are going straight away to the last 16, especially because it's only two years ago that we were playing Europa League and we went out in the quarter-finals against Atalanta."

Additionally, it seems the punditry class are all verklempt and upset at Mo's "disrespectful" comment.

After watching Nicol have a little cry on ESPN yesterday talking about how disappointed he was in Mo, now I see Shrek saying Mo should be dropped from the last game as punishment.

First all, that Blueshite gobshite should mind his own business and keep his nose out of what happens at our club.

Secondly, none of these former players falling on their fainting couches are bothering to address the elephant in the room fact that Mo's sentiment actually reflects what most fans feel, and that Slot is not the person with the winning hand here.

If you think you're going to have a last game at Anfield and not let Mo have a proper send-off from the fans, then you have another thing coming.

            • If salah is fit slot has to start him,not starting him will have a adverse effect on the crowd and match.
But slot isnt very good at handling these situations and its highly possible salah starts on bench or even not at all.
After slots response "when your not as good as you were,it effects your ego",
I came across a video of sadio mane waving away klopps handshake and shaking his head, when interviewed about it klopp laughed and said"all good,no problem".
Class from klopp and shows what slot is like.

                • There have been plenty of journalists eg Joyce & Pearce saying the club are briefing them that Slot gets another go next season so why would they leak the opposite to someone else?

No, I’m not saying Craig Houlden is definitely right but he does believe his source

I think the quote above probably has a lot to do with Slot saying whatever's on his mind. He doesn't seem to get how it comes across to the fans and the wider football world. He should never be saying things like that about current players and especially a player who has given so much over the past decade almost. Slot doesn't seem to be the smartest when handling the media and this was shown earlier in the season when he was telling everyone that we don't know how to beat a low block. Clueless stuff.

No, we know exactly what an Arne Slot transfer window can do.

Totally agree - he clearly believes in it. As does YNWA Reds

BUT we would all be naive not to allow for the club orchestrating most of this

Salah tried to get him sacked before heading off to Afcon.
Was talking about standards at the end of the season.
The a return to Heavy metal football just after that comment.

Slot has a right to have a pop back as I see it.

Whole season comes down to Slot & the players. Looking like there'll be some clear out in the summer. What a fucking waste of a season.

Is that a genuine answer from Slot?
I can't see anything on the sports news pages and surely that would be highlighted?

When its a few players, you can blame them, when its the entire fucking squad, you blame the manager.
For example salah, while a touch slower, was amazing last 2 seasons with assists and playmaking. That's completely gone.
We spent like 350m on the attack and it's fucking Shite.
Cant defend, cant attack. The players? Yeah they've lost faith.
