A Konate bluder is the most likely problem.

Ekitike being out is a big problem. I would have fancied us to get a result with him in the side. It's going to be difficult now but I'm not losing hope just yet.

I agree Steveo. The concern would be our 3-0 at City, we have a tendency to fold when things go against us this season and v City it was Virgil’s disallowed goal.

Yep...and a pretty big turning point.. not saying we would have won but that goal changes everything.

        Is Hugo confirmed as out?

Even if he's back he won't be 100% rather not risk him and get ready for the upcoming games

Sad state of affairs but this game is a free hit for me, we fucked up by not winning winnable games last few weeks- we've got a bit of a tough run coming upthat could see us outside the top4 by the end of it.

Especially if we don't make any transfers.... would not surprise me

Come on Kev - we HAVE to play him v the Arse. We can't be resting him.

He can cause massive problems for Arse with his movement and trickery. The fella is quality. Without him we are going to have to need divine intervention.

Coutinho was the player they most feared. Then Mane - Then Diaz.. I know this as Gooner Steve

yes lets rush him back and he can get injured again and be out for rest of the month if not longer when isak is crooked too, great plan.

we can start chiesa up top it'll all be ok....... lols

even with him we need a divine intervention we make it hard work to score as it is, never mind against the most solid team in the league

              Pray to jesus.

Quite simply if we lost against them and won our next 3-4 i'm not arsed we won't do that rushing players back and getting injured again though, obviously rather us get a result but not if it's going to cost us in the future, I.E starting hugo if he's not 100% yet.

Yes but that's again looking at so called winnable games and counting points. IF he is realy unfit obviously. he doesn't start. but to rest him and not try IF he is willing is madness imo. A big loss to the Arse would crush the group and possibly lead into another spiral of defeats.. Slots gets moved on... then what..? Caretaker...? Start again. New manager in the summer? any budget? etc etc

We need some pride back. Some morale. Getting a result in NOrth London should be a target we can attain. We have to try

Rumour is Steveo you will be wearing a half and half scarf for tomorrow night, one half red and white with the other white and red.

Can't see us outpassing them in our normal slow possession based game but then we shouldn't have that much possession so imperative we start the quickest players we have and break well and pass sharply.
That's means Rio and Frimpong starting, not waiting until we're behind. I'm starting to think hes being so stubborn to make it personal with Hughes/Edwards and then just wait for the inevitable payoff (like amorim). Maybe come last 16 of CL we'll look better with isak back and Salah hopefully on form.

Common sense, isn't it. There's no point risking him if he's not ready.

Gakpo will play up front if Ekitike is out. Hoping to see Frimpong start on the right. And maybe Rio to get a cameo. Depends how the match is going obviously.

I expect the game to be played at a high tempo. Arsenal will force it.

Then lots of questions about why don't we play like that every game

It's the first time in a long time we're going into a game I don't feel confident we'll get a result. And I've a feeling Arsenal smell blood and go for us which could turn embarrassing.
But as its football, you never know.

                              Same and same.

Mindset for me is to expect a loss in this one and that we need to be as fit/able as we can be for ensuring we don't fall off in the Champion's League and for trying to keep 4th spot - or regain it if we slip away slightly.

We need Hugo for Marseille and Qarabag.

I don't think Arsenal are particularly great. I think both our and City's 18-20 side would beat them comfortably.

However, we've struggled in every single game we've played this season, except for maybe 4 or 5 games, so I think it will be a struggle.

We'll 100% get beat if we're so slow in the transition.
