Frimpong just keeps running and running. He’s good at getting beyond the full back. He’s a great out ball out there on the wing. Pity we’d no isak or Hugo to call on. We’d have pinched it I reckon.

0-0 decent point poor third draw in a row
The press and counter press and picking up giving ourselves room to play and making sure we’re not easily countered in we much better
But yet another game in which we look like all we train on is to keep the ball while going nowhere
Not a single shot on target with all that possession is pathetic we are absolutely crying out for a Diaz or Semenyo why the fuck we sold the former fuck knows someone want a boot in the cxxx for that fuck up
Bradley will be out for some time now that’s likely a medial strain and he was excellent tonight a real quality RB Gomez is a poor replacement
We need to be more direct abs create with all our possession keeping it going nowhere not creating any chances won’t win anything and never did
As ever all the focus on the next game and getting the win and work on the triangle on our right to create and creating far more and being direct when it’s on to be
The press and counter press and balance of players picking up and looking for space was much better tonight at least
But we need to do that against every team even the low block, in fact we need to be more direct against them and use the width switches and diagonals more"If Everton were playing at the bottom of my garden, i'd close the curtains”

Because they won’t come out of their shape and we’ll get bogged down overpassing and lacking movement.Originally posted by jozza800 View PostWe just can't play the same way v Burnley.
Kerkez is was superb tonight.
Assuming Bradder's injury is a bad will surely mean we go after a CB, as Joemez will be playing RB.

Agreed. Would have accepted a red if Konate had smashed Martinelli. Might have forgiven some of his past errors...plus we would have to sign a new cb 😂Originally posted by jimmyliver View PostI would of clapped if someone took a red and smashed martinelli Ben thatcher style .
Glad we didn’t concede then , gutted for Bradley looks like his acl , gutted

Great performance from our lads. 1st half a defensive masterclass. 2nd half bossed them in their own half of the pitch.
Big shout out to Kerkez and Frimpong..two players some of us had doubts about, coming good now. Kerkez nullified the 'greatest player in the history of the game' Saka. Frimpong always looks a threat and one of the few players these days who just will go round the outside and create havoc.
Think we would have played better offensively with Rio over Gakpo, but Gakpo put in a massive defensive shift in the first half. Not sure Rio would have had the game knowledge to do that.
Maybe give Ramsay a run out at RB in the next game, let Slot see what we already know..he will do well.

Now that game is out of the way we need to start building a winning run to pull away. That type of performance tonight results in a win most times. Despite not much threat the intent was there, it wasn't as pedestrian as it has been previously.Originally posted by Steveo View PostI would have bitten your arms and legs off for a draw tonight,
If anyone should have won that game it was us. We make a superb underdog. Some of the football second half.
Arsenal looked like the away side for long spells
Some real positives to take from it, just need to make them count going forward. The defining moments in our lives are never planned.
