  • Jeremie Frimpong

Seems to be getting interviewed a little more, including informal stuff like Sportbible.

Very much seems like a "good Egg" and there's something playful and carefree about his answers that will endear him to a lot of younger folks.

Has been playing well lately, long may it last.

He frustrated the life out of me with his decision not to shoot against Arsenal and then against Barnsley finds himself in a similar position and rattles it in - with his left foot as well.

Hope he continues to shine for us - feels like he is on the cusp of a really good spell for us and as much as I hate seeing Bradley out with injury, the silver lining may be that Jeremie gets to further himself with us and develop into the maximised version of himself.

Like him as a player and character, think he will improve over the coming years too, he hasn’t finished developing

I like that he stood the player up and left him for dead for his goal v Bradford

Certainly looks like Slot has struggled to get put it all together.

There wasn't a single transfer this summer that I was hesitant about.

Doesn't mean we've got value for money on all of them, but we certainly brought in some quality.

As for Frimpong, it's a real shame Bradders got injured, as I think he'll be far more effective as a winger than a fullback.

Let's hope Mo comes back from Africa with his 2024/25 form (if of course he comes back at all).

You had no misgivings about selling Diaz?

Mo’s just struggling because he’s being asked to play as an attacking midfielder/winger in a team Slot’s attempting to set up around Wirtz

When he’s always played as a forward, left up pitch with the team set up around that and we no longer have a top end player at LFWD teams have to double up on to create more time & space for him

I always rated Mane more highly as he had to work harder and do better one v one and immediately afterwards far more than Mo for his goals and assists and didn’t take pens either

Sorry, should have clarified, no issues with any of the players brought IN.

I've said (as have most) that we've replaced like for like for everyone that has left, other than Diaz...

The way we've been playing i'm not sure he'd have made that much of a difference tbh.

It was Chiesa and Rio a month ago. They were the answer to all our problems. Then they got chances and did nothing and now Diaz would have been the answer.

Starting to look like the player we thought we were getting. He has been excellent the last couple of games. He's a massive threat down that right hand side. Looking forward to seeing him and Salah play together.

                    “chances”

Let’s imagine Wirtz got the same Chances as Rio or Chiesa… this season… ? 88th minute here - the. Bench for weeks on end there…

You don’t half talk a load Pony you.

Imagine comparing Wirtz to Rio and Chiesa

Rio could be good in time but he's not ready yet. Chiesa is done.

                      What a cockney bellend.

Must have forgotten that he posted this utter garbage.. just 3 days ago too.

                        "Chances" indeed.

Doesn't even have the decency to watch on his PC when we play.

Back on Frimpong. He's starting to settle nicely. Looks a proper player now.

                            Bit too Keith Gillespie

Also very inhibited by the over passing and complete lack of diagonals and switches

He needs to be released with the switch diagonal or direct ball in one pass not work it over to his side in six then explode towards the line or even inside and pick a player out

Needs to be released ahead of the others for them to be arriving off the back of defenders in space into the ball

Slot abd Wirtz are even laying his talents to waste

On that subject that’s why I out Wirtz at RFWD as he linked up very well with Frimpong from inside right at their old club

This is something I agree with. I'd like to see Frimpong make more threatening runs off the ball especially when playing RW.
