The runs and starting positions are there, we’re not switching it to him because the team seem under instruction to play everything short through Wirtz

Thry are turning down the very passes that made them champions over and over in favour of a sideways or backwards pass

This is how Skot is killing the team that won the league

He's been a bit unlucky with injuries so far but his power and pace are much needed in the team now. He's going to rack up the assists just by bombing forward and firing crosses into the box. I'm really enjoying watching him play. Think he'd be perfect for Isak too but we'll have to wait till next season to see that happen.

Firing crosses into the box is very Keith Gillespie I’d prefer he get his head up and pick a player out as he has twice already but far too often he just puts it in there not picking a player out, in his defence, we’ve been crowding the box with players and had players standing still not coming on to the ball

I watched a lot of Newcastle and Isak performs best in a 433 and Newcastle had a very specific way of playing to his strengths I’ve detailed before so won’t repeat

Gordon or Barnes at LFWD and Murphy or Barnes at RFWD were Isak’s main supply he’s not a fox in an overcrowded box and neither is Ekitike to be fair

When City set up to play like this up to 2020 they had Aguerro David Silva and Bernardo Silva who were all more fox in the box types

Never injured at Leverkusen. A complete wreck at LFC.

Is it down to our medical staff? I always thought historically we were always really strong in that department. I think all those injuries that arsenal used to get was also down to bad physical care and preparation in some way.

I bang on about it but lack of depth and having to play every game is a reason too

Frimpong doesn't have that excuse though, he's been out most of the season, I supoose coming back and expected to play every game because of injury's doesn't help mind

Gutted for the lad. Was looking a genuine and relentless threat - also very good going the other way.

We are now officially jinxed on the injury front.

Got to be a loan or 2 we can make? We don’t want to play kids at CB… It’s madness and will killing the league.

Not so much a Jinx more of a paper thin squad. Probably rushed Frimpong back when Connor got injured.

5 defenders missing and our overlords do nothing. Familiar.

How many Right Backs are we expected to have in the squad to cover having both of them injured?

                                Is frimpong a RB?

A actual starter at RB would've been good, a actual proper RB, we all know bradley spends most of the time injured.

One of the reason some idiots was happy trent was leaving because he can't defend apparently even though he got 0 protection now people want frimpong to play RB most of the time ?? makes no sense

I suspect in future Chiesa will leave and frimpong will cover salah.... we'll probably leave ourselves short again with one player covering the whole side, that's if salah is not off then we need a RW if he is

Bradley plays a few games then injured most of the season, it's a shame but if you want him to be first choice RB going forward, good luck.
