Kenny for me. I was about 1988 when I first supported or had an interest but probably 91 or so by the time I was fully invested. So you can blame me for the 90s.

So from Shanks and the continuation of style through to Dalglish and thrn Souness ripping up thr blueprint and the 30 years of pair that caused you must surely understand the absolute importance of continuation of formation and style of play and how disastrous changing it can be

If 4 managers are amazingly successful with it for so many years and one changes it and it fucks everything up you surely have to see it

Got schooled by Red Star Belgrade at home and away. Hadn't lost at Anfield in an age. My old fella was at the game and said he had never seen anything like it.

They were pragmatic.. Got results domesticaly - but needed to up their game for the best in Europe..
