    Looks like Slotball.

To be fair the pressing and counter pressing from LFC is rubbish

I won't disagree.. Elements of that v Arsenal the other night which I personally loved watching. Also signs of that away in Milan too.

Look - IF the man does indeed transition us into that kind of super controlled side - minus the turgid stuff.. More power to the him. Baldy will be getting the plaudits from me.

And this is why Slot deserves his credit for winning the title last season. The idea that he's just taken Jurgen's team and just told them to carry on 'as you were' from last season is just laughable. It was quite clearly a different set-up from Jurgen's side. And it was just as effective.

The problem for Slot is that he's changed it again, but this time it's not working.

We'll see how stubborn he is, in how he sets us up going forward. If he continues the set up we're currently employing, we'll continue to struggle and he'll get the sack.
I’m fully aware of that Jozza mate

We needed Kerkez, we needed a new RFWD but more in the can go either way Mane/Senenyo mould (Senenyo has a way to go to reach Mane levels) as a long term replacement for Salah and Frimpong for RB and an option at RFWD with Senenyo able to play right or next and Diaz we needed to keep LFWD and false 9 brilliant options

Bring Ekitike in, keep Nunez, Gakpo needed to go and then just a CB was needed we’d be far stronger in all areas especially far more potent and creative up top have hugely strengthened our 433 and not needed to spend 225 million on Wirtz and Isak and have plenty of cover

And we’d be top of the league right now

Do t give Slit credit for copying Jurgen’s tactics you had to be blind us you didn’t recognise 424 442 343 and all sorts of different tweaks but importantly all off the 433

Bob did that Kenny took the attacking flair a wee but further but sane principles but forwards and mids with a bit more flair and creativity but that sane run through a brick wall and cone out fighting on the other side mentality

Slot has bought top quality players. So nothing like Souness. But carry on.
He tried to create a team of hard men in his own image far mire direct without the ability to control possession and be able to slow slow quick quick slow and attack in all manners not the long ball or the short ball, the right ball

He changed the style not the formation as such

Slot fucked with the formation and it was needless

              would like to try 4 3 1 2 with ekitikie/gapko left attack----isak/salah right attack with wirtz/dom as the 10.
Me too Ravo me too and the 4222 Jurgen used in some games with that box midfield the forwards one inside one wide depending when it was in

But the point is they assimilated all those formations under Jurgen from the 433 that’s the start point including a 4232 from there

Sometimes a number of players get old around the same time and the squad needs rebuilt.

                It's a never ending cycle.

The silly twat keeps acting like a spoilt brat.
We only really have Virgil Salah and Robbo needed replacing long term but Robbo and Virgil have a couple more seasons left, Alisson 2-3 but otherwise all good

Diaz just turned 29 and was just hitting g the form is his life with us last season and has 3 more years

We didn’t need to rip up the blue print

Kerkez Frimpong Guehi Semenyo Ekitike keep Diaz and Nunez - Gakpo out

No need to spend 225m on Wirtz and Isak

We’d have a far better TEAM far stronger in defence midfield and attack far more interchangeable and in assimilating different formations from the 433

We didn’t need Wirtz or Isak the team is the star point including the team of very talented and creative players makes the play and can hit teams from any player anywhere in the pitch a designated playmaker restricts and inhibits the TEAM

We needed to bring 5 in we only got 3 right and missed out on two fantastic prem proven unbreakable players when we didn’t need Wirtz or Isak

Semenyo and Guehi we could have had fir 100m signed sealed delivered like Stevie and spent 125m less

Edwards Hughes and Slit want sacking, what a fuck up and summer or glaring mismanagement and miss opportunities and open gowns

It was going well ,A simple enough question until a certain poster trys to make the thread about him. And can't answer the question asked.
