    • Average breakdown. Doesn't mention rotation through the 10s or how Slot has broken the golden rules

It does show why Frimpong and Kerkez were so good though. They are responsible for providing the width when going forward and shutting down the wide attackers when defending. Very imprressive from both. And very impressive from Slot.

Systems don't matter so much against low blocks. What's the use of a box midfield when 10 men are on the edge of their own box.

        • It was a superb bit of play by the Hungarian. Wrong footed their entire back line.

          • Last time I checked Bournemouth aren't the ones for the 'low block' So I am hoping for something similar to Marseille

Seems like Slot reads here 😂

Not sure why you’re trying to mock me, I swrote about the box midfield days before the game between Rsvo19 and I it was a tactic Jurgen used some games

I even wrote how it was going to work in the match thread before kick off with Kerkez and Frimpong providing the width

I know a thing or two about this game 😉 I pay attention and learn

You’re saying I’m not slating Slot for playing a way I hoped he might Bravo 👏🏼

It will work v low blocks the 2 forwards can effectively occupy 5 players positioned as they were

It’s important not to push them back into their own area as that’s how everything ends up getting blocked and cleared off the line

Tge 2 forwards need to keep the opposition line in the edge of their area not in it

We need to pick up their first line and box them in and release the wide players in space early

The 2 ans 2 plus 2 full backs is all you need for attacks the rest are winning it back if our play breaks down and stopping thrn getting out

You want your forward and one or two of your 10’s making runs in the box not loads of players camped in there

I don’t expect Bournemouth to play a low block

It looks like the box midfield I was talking about 😉

                You’re welcome

I'm thinking this too, only thing that may see them do it is that they're currently on a pretty bad run. They've hardly won a game in months. Iraola doesn't seem to play sitting back so like you say hopefully similar to last night.

They’re like to play attacking football and are at home I don’t foresee a low block

Plus just don’t fill the box with too many players and release the wide jars early when it’s on innit
