    A must win game

Team just one change Gakpo surprisingly in for Ekitike

    Alisson

    Frimpong Gomez Van Dijk Robertson

    Szoboslai Gravenberch Mac Allister

    Wirtz

    _____Salah_________Gakpo_____

Pick up better stil again, positioned to join the attack should it develop That way or quickly win the ball back and prevent any breaks

Same rotation of our three 10’s please and one or two of them full backs providing width and being released early when they’re in great space interested to see Robbo’s superior delivery in this set up

Get the win NO excuses and let’s build on a much improved performance and tactics v Marseille

    3 points minimum requirement

Like to see good link up between Salah Szobo and Frimoong working on releasing one of them or getting low or other crosses into the box by opening the channel today

Be great to get a triangle going between that three as we had with Trent Hendo Mo and Trent Szobo Mo

On back to Szobo to whip a cross in is something I’d like to see his delivery is excellent at times

I’d like to see Szobo edge of the box past far post from our left side corners to pick up any second ball and put it back in too, again because of the delivery he has

I’m not sure why ekitike is playing instead of gakpo , I’m really interested to see how wirtz plays today because I’m hoping gakpo and Salah offer him runs as this is what I feel will be his position going forward

for a rest I suppose, with isak out guess we're not risking it

But salah starts still... after afcon and mid-week... which raises the question, is it because of his fitness? or is it player power? who knows.

Slot confirming that Ekitike is being rested because he's our only available number 9 and we have a lot of games coming up.

Also says that Mo has the freedom to play more central or out wide as he sees fit.

I liked the box midfield I touted in the Marseille game with a Wirtz inside left and Szobo arriving inside right

Problem I see moving forward is you really need 2 wide forwards of the very highest quality 18-19 Mo and Mane both got 20 goals and Bobby 10 or more

We had THE best 2 atttackibg full backs there has been in tandem but most of their assist were for either wide forward and as good as they were they didn’t score enough goal for us to challenge with their contribution and thr 9’s alone

To challenge we’ll be looking for 20 goals each from the 2 No9’s and 20 from our midfielders combined

Need the 3 forwards and the ability to switch to that at least for me

Plus Ekitike and Isak are both best as central lone 9’s in a three

That’s how the box midfield system with the 2 forwards is supposed to work mate It’s the movement the forwards are supposed to make with the one the other side coming in more central when the other goes wide

Let's hope Mo and Gakpo give Wirtz options when he has the ball.

Mo and Flo haven't exactly 'clicked' yet have they. Maybe today might be the day.

Conditions look terrible. Bournemouth missing several players plus they have sold a number of their best players.

                              No excuses.
